By the time that she arrived at the Capitol Building, Luke had just announced that he was protesting until they could vote on the Farm Bill. She watched, impressed, until she noticed the disapproving look Gary was giving her. "I'll just wait for Gareth in his office then." She pointed and made her way inside.

She sat, scrolling through her work emails after letting Mike know she was waiting for him in his office, when she heard banging going on inside of Red's office. She didn't think much of it since Mike said he hadn't been faring well since Laurel had managed to hit the Queen Bug. That was, of course, until she heard a gunshot.

Bex stood up, ready to burst into Red's office when Gary came in. "Stay here." He ordered. "The senator was attacked a couple of nights ago and they could be back."

"Gary!" Red shouted and soon the latest intern was gone.

Bex waited for ten seconds before she snuck over to the door that connected Mike's office with Red. She had her firearm ready as she opened the door just a crack. She watched as Red stuffed Senator Pollock into the coat closet before he set about to cleaning the bloody mess left on his floor. As he was cleaning, or was he saving some of the pieces, her nose wrinkled at the thought, he called Onofrio and ordered him to get to his office as soon as possible to clean up the mess.

She needed to call it in, especially since she was pretty sure Red would also be tied to the disappearance of the attorney that was looking into the CIA leak. She'd just need to get evidence of that. Not to mention how this whole thing could affect their other investigation and she didn't know who all at the Bureau had been affected.

"Bex, what are you doing?" Mike asked, concern written all over his face as he noticed how she had her gun in her hand.

She turned to face him, relaxing a bit. "I think Red just killed Senator Pollock."

"What?"

"There was a gunshot and then I just saw him stuff her in the coat closet. He called Onofrio and he's coming to take care of the body."

"Have you called this in yet?"

She shook her head. "There's too many moving pieces. If we remove Red now, I'm afraid that everything will just be put on pause and then they'll still somehow take over everything."

Mike let out a sigh. "When did this get so complicated?"

"I don't know. I need to somehow get to the building site and piece more together. I want to turn him in as badly as you do but I feel like it's like my organized crime cases. I can't call in back up to get the person at everything they do that breaks the law up until the bigger buy day. So we just need to figure out what the bigger buy day is so we can take in as many bug people as we can."

He nodded. "Okay, yeah, that makes sense."

"Gareth? You back yet, buddy?" Red called out.

Bex hurried from the door and sat down, sliding her gun into her purse until she could get it back in her thigh holster. She took the cup of coffee Mike held out to her as he replied to Red. When the senator came walking into the office the couple looked at ease, drinking their drinks.

"I spilled some fruit punch everywhere. Make sure no one comes in here until I give the go ahead."

"Of course, senator. Do I need to call the cleaning crew?" Mike asked, acting as though the stains on Red's shirt were not obviously from blood.

"No. I've already called them." He then turned to Bex, looking at her suspiciously. How long had she been here? "Always good to see you, Rebecca."

She gave him her sweetest smile. "And it's always a pleasure to see you, Senator."
