Bex looked towards the edge of the roof when she heard the sirens. They were coming. They figured it out. They were on their way to rescue her. The killer forced Bex to stand, practically dragging her to the ledge. She made it difficult, however. She made sure to squirm and tug, even use all of her weight to slow him down. When the sirens stopped and the sounds of car doors filled the air, Bex screamed at the top of her lungs. "I'm on the roof!!"
She continued to do that over and over again until the killer threw her to the side. Climbing on top of her, he wrapped his hands around her throat and squeezed. Bex began to squirm, trying to fight him off of her as best she could with her hands still tied together. She kicked, arched her back, raised her hips, anything to try and get him off of her.
Just as spots were appearing in her vision, a gun shot rang out, causing the killer to loosen his grip. Another shot sounded and he fell over, yelling in pain. Bex scrambled away, gasping for breath. Soon her vision was filled with nothing but Mike. At the sight of him, it was as if a dam had broken. Tears blurred her vision as she cried. "You found me."
"I told you I would always fight my way to you." Mike said softly as he removed the rope binding her wrists together.
Once her hands were free, she launched herself into his arms, clutching the edges of his bullet proof vest in her hands as she sobbed into his shoulder. Mike held her tight for a few moments before maneuvering her into his arms so he could carry her down to the ambulance that would be waiting to check her out.
"I saved your arrows. I have them back in my room." He told her as they went down the elevator.
Bex let out a sigh. "I was hoping someone would save them from evidence. I can't believe it's finally over." She sniffled.
Mike placed a kiss on her forehead. "You did it. You finally closed the case."
"She can finally rest." Her cries began to pick back up again as she buried her face into his neck.
So can you, he thought resting his head on top of hers as he carried her out to the medic team. He set her down on the gurney, fully prepared to step back and let the medics do their job when he felt a tug on his hand. He looked up at her and gave her a reassuring smile. "I'm going to let them load you in first, okay?"
Bex nodded and he gave her hand a squeeze before letting go. Another medic team came down with Rossi and Luke following behind them. The killer had been handcuffed to the gurney as he continued to yell about just letting him go so that he could be with his kids. Spencer came out next, heading straight for the ambulance that Bex was in. "Look what I found!" He smiled, holding out her phone.
The blonde smiled. "We did it, Spence. We finally got him."
Spencer handed over her phone and gave her ankle a squeeze. "We did. I always knew we would."
"Will you take those heels off? I want to get out of this costume as soon as possible. Have you found my clothes?" She asked him.
He nodded, doing what she asked as he answered her question. "Emily and JJ are looking now as they look around his apartment to see how much evidence they can find."
