Despite the protests that Marchant's assistant was shouting at her, Bex marched right into his office. She was just about to open her mouth to start in on all she had seen the last couple of days when she realized that the other person in Marchant's office was the agent she was about to complain about. She snapped her mouth shut and raised an eyebrow towards the director.

Marchant motioned for her to sit in the other chair. As she did so Onofrio spoke up. "See, sir, just like I said, no respect."

Bex rolled her eyes and crossed her legs and folded her arms loosely over her chest. Oh, whatever she walked in on was sure to be good. "You know I wouldn't barge in if it wasn't urgent, sir." She said.

The director sighed. "Does it have something to do with a hot house in Virginia?"

She nodded even if there was more to it.

"Then I suggest that you two begin to properly communicate about what you're investigating so this problem doesn't come up again. You're working on the same case, you should act like it." He gave both agents a pointed look.

"It's more than just that, sir, but I'd feel more comfortable talking to you in private." Bex said, hoping Marchant would let her stay.

"Onofrio, you can go." Marchant looked to the other agent.

"You're not even going to ask her?" The agent looked offended as he stood up.

The director rolled his eyes and focused on Bex. "Were you physically at the hot house in Virginia yesterday or did you just learn of this during your research?"

"I learned about it and the many others during my research. It's in Manassas right?" She asked, playing dumb in the hopes that Onofrio bought it. If he was complaining about her then did he see her yesterday? If so does Red know?

"See, communication goes a long way Onofrio. You two could have investigated together. Have a good day." Marchant dismissed the other agent.

Once the door was closed, the director turned to Bex. "Alright, now what have you got?"

"Onofrio is infected." Bex said right away. "He's working with Red and they're up to some shady things that I wish I could disclose right now but we've only got a week until the buy day and well, I can't let you have them until then."

"The buy day?"

Bex nodded. "They're trying to save the cherry blossoms. Honestly I don't know why Area 51 hasn't been contacted yet. Have you not read my reports?"

He sighed. "I have. Even sent them to my contact. They said that they've been told everything's being taken care of by the CIA."

"The CIA's been infiltrated and I'm not just saying that because of our history with them."

"How many people have been compromised?"

She shrugged. "I honestly couldn't tell ya. A lot and Red Wheatus has the Queen."

"So he's running the show?"

"Sure is. Now what did Onofrio say about me?"

Marchant shook his head. "Don't worry about it."

"No, director, I need to know. If he suspects anything and tells Red then Mike and I could be in trouble."

"You have nothing to worry about. Just figure out how to stop all of this before the world ends, huh?"

Bex laughed a bit as she stood up. "Yeah, no pressure or anything."

By the time that she returned to her desk, she realized that she had a text from Rochelle.
