A meeting

Chiron was seated at the head of the table. Leo sat at Chiron's right and Jason on his left. Brianna sat in the middle of Leo and Percy. Across from her sat Thalia. On Thalia's left was another girl from the hunter of Artemis. Annabeth sat across the table from Chiron, looking at the campers.

The other girl from the hunters of Artemis had brown hair cut at her chin. She had a short fringe and brown eyes. She wore a silver jacket, the same as Thalia’s. Both girls had a quiver full of arrows on their backs. They had a necklace

Chiron had gathered them all in the big house to discuss the prophecy. Brianna was staring at a painting of Heracles on the wall when Annabeth started talking.

"I believe you all know why you are here?" she assumed.

Thalia spoke up, "I have no idea why Esme and I have been summoned."

Annabeth replied, "Rachel, unknowingly spoke a new prophecy. Leo and Jason were the receivers.” I put up my hand, “When did they hear the prophecy?” I asked.

“About two hours ago. It took time for us to get everyone gathered.” Annabeth answered.

“I was also a recipient, this morning when I was walking to my cabin. I was scared, so I didn’t mention it to anyone.” Annabeth looked at me with a puzzled look.

Chiron spoke up, “Well, seeing as half of us don’t know the prophecy, let’s go through it. What is the first line?”

“Children of the ancient ones, hear the mermaids’ call.” Leo said.

“Sirens, call. Not mermaids.” Jason corrected.

“For only you can grow to be the saviours of us all.” I added.

“Sons of lightning and forge, Daughters of Hunt and Sea.” Jason spoke. “I am probably the son of lightning, Leo’s the son of forge. A daughter of Artemis and Poseidon.”

“They might be children of Roman Gods.” Percy suggested. Thalia was glaring at Percy while he spoke.

“Combine your hidden strengths, And find out what you can be.” Leo said.

“Rough seas ahead, you must stand tall. For light to triumph and darkness fall.” I finished.

“Does anyone know what that means?” asked Esme.

“Well, Brianna is probably the daughter of the sea. Thalia, is one of your hunters a daughter of Artemis?” asked Leo.

Esme spoke up, “My godly parent is Artemis.” I looked at Esme; I saw some resemblance between her and Artemis. I was surprised I hadn’t noticed it before.

The Olympians were in council. Zeus sat at the top of the horseshoe, with Hera on his right. From right to left it was, Hermes, Hephaestus, Apollo, Ares, Poseidon, Zeus, Hera, Demeter, Athena, Artemis, Aphrodite and Dionysus.

Zeus was slamming his fist on his chair and glaring at Poseidon. Zeus stood up;

“We are here to discuss the fate of Brianna, daughter of Poseidon.”

“Actually, she is not a child of Poseidon, but a daughter of Neptune.” Poseidon looked at his brother.

“What is the darling doing at Camp Half Blood then?” Aphrodite asked.

Poseidon looked at Aphrodite, “I have no idea. Although, I do know that she needs to meet her sister.”

Zeus glared menacingly at Poseidon. “She has a sister! Oh great, like one wasn’t enough!”

Hannah was with the Fifth Cohort and she was going to find her sister. She didn’t know how she knew that she had a sister, she just knew. Hannah set off for a place the other demigods talked about. Someplace called Camp Half Blood.

Hannah had her blonde hair in a braid that ran down her back. Her blue streak of hair ran down the side of her face ending just after her chin. Her sea-green eyes shone with confidence. She was going to find her sister. Her sword θραύστης, breaker, was on her hip, waiting to be drawn.

She had some nectar and ambrosia in a backpack, which was slung across her back. Only to be used in emergencies she reminded herself.

Hannah was walking to the Caldecott Tunnel when Reyna stopped her. “Hannah, I know you feel like you don’t belong, but for the record, you are always welcome to come back here.” Reyna’s long, dark brown hair was messily done into a plait. She obviously hadn’t been getting much sleep.

Reyna pulled her breastplate forward and reached inside. Then out of a hidden pocket she pulled out a bottle of purple liquid. She passed it to me, “Here. Use this when the time is right.” I gripped it with my hand and put it carefully in my back pocket.

“How will I know when the time is right?” I asked.

“When the time comes, you’ll know.” She smiled and walked down the hill to New Rome.
