His bedroom walls were covered with posters from top to bottom. Not an inch of it was plain wall.
"Your room is literally so cool. Mine's just plain," I laughed.
"Thanks," he giggled.
"Your dad's pretty nice," I stated, sitting down on his black-sheeted bed.
"I know. It took him a while, but after my mom left, he started being a lot nicer and just overall happier," he shrugged, sitting next to me.
"I didn't tell my dad I was going here, let me ring him," I pulled my phone out of my pocket and dialled his number, putting the phone to my ear.
"Hello? I'm at a friends house. Yeah. I'm not sure, maybe tomorrow? I'll ring you when I know. Ok. Bye," I mumbled over the phone.
"I'm so coldddd," he giggled, throwing his arms over me, knocking me backwards onto the bed.
"C'mere," I laughed, wrapping my arms around him.
"Feel how cold my hands are!" He squealed, putting his freezing cold hands on my warm cheeks.
"Oh my god," I laughed, taking his hands in my own.
"You're so warm," he giggled, wrapping both his arms and legs around me, the hoodie he was wearing clearly doing nothing.
"You're so cold," I laughed again, peppering small kisses onto his neck.
"Stop that tickles," he squeaked, giggling uncontrollably.
"Maybe this'll warm you up.." I pressed my lips to his, Colby smiling into the gesture.
"I don't know if it worked.. I think we need to try it again," he giggled, making me grin. We kissed again, this time more passionate and meaningful.

"What're we gonna do about telling your dad, and your friends, and people at school?" Colby asked, his voice quiet.
"My dad shouldn't be too bad. He won't even bother asking, I don't think. And my friends.. I don't even wanna know. I guess I'll just have to tell them and then see how it goes from there. And people from school can keep their noses out of our business," I laughed at the end bit, Colby giggling.
"I just don't wanna be hated by your friends," he mumbled, putting his head on my chest.
"They don't hate people. They're just pricks sometimes, that's all," I answered, kissing his forehead.
"Tell me about it!" He giggled, his warm breath against my neck.
"I'm gonna take you on a date later," I mumbled, kissing his forehead again.
"Wait, actually?" He lifted his head up.
"Yeah. You're not gonna see what it is until we get there either," I grinned to myself, knowing exactly what I was doing.
"Awww," he frowned, a slight pout playing on his lips.
"It'll be good, I promise," I laughed softly, bringing his chin up with a finger. He looked at me with gentle, bright blue eyes. I flicked my eyes from his eyes to his lips, then pressed mine against his. He kissed me back, moving his lips apart slightly. I slid my tongue over his lip slightly, him opening his mouth a little wider. I slid my tongue in slowly, exploring every corner of his mouth cautiously.
"Colby, have you seen my-OHMYGODIMSOSORRY," Gage walked in, quickly skuttling back out. Me and Colby burst out in laughter, our foreheads touching.
"Gage, you're safe, what do you want?" He laughed.
"I was just wondering if you'd seen my phone charger," he mumbled, still not coming into the room.
"Yeah, it's downstairs," Colby was still giggling.
"Thanks," Gage mumbled, followed by footsteps.
"Jesus Christ," I laughed.
"I'm gonna go to the toilet, I'll be back in a sec," he giggled, crawling out of my arms out of the room. I pulled my phone out of my pocket and messaged my dad.
'Get the Jeep ready, the one with the room at the back. Fill it with blankets and pillows and snacks and stuff like that. Thanks.'
