"Where are we going?" Colby asked, sat in the passenger seat of the Jeep.
"You'll see," I smiled, reaching a hand over the car to hold his. I pulled up on a field, a huge projector screen at the other end. A drive in movie. I rolled the car up backwards, so the space at the back was facing the screen. There was people already here, not many though. It started in 10 minutes. Colby shot me a confused look.
"It's a drive in movie. I've got blankets and snacks in the back," I laughed, him not understanding at first.
"Oh! What film are we watching?" He asked, climbing out of his side of the car.
"Love, Simon," I said, both of us walking round to the back of the car. I opened the little part at the back and helped Colby climb in before getting in myself. My dad had given me a stack of blankets, about 6 or 7 of them, a few pillows and a pile of snacks and drinks.
"Let's sort this out," I grinned, setting the blankets out so there was 2 underneath us, the rest on top. It was winter, after all, so it was cold. I put the pillows at one end, and flopped backwards.
"C'mere," I said, putting an arm out. Colby giggled and laid next to me, his face in the crook of my neck. I grabbed the blankets and pulled them over us, Colby putting a leg over mine."That movie was kinda sad," Colby giggled, wrapped in a white blanket in the passenger seat.
"It was ok in the end though," I shrugged, putting a hand on his thigh as I drove.
"Hmm," He hummed, looking out of the window. We were around the corner from his street, I didn't want him to go, but I had to.
"We're almost there," I sighed, rubbing his thigh gently.
"I know, I don't wanna go," he frowned.
"I don't want you to go either, but we have to," I frowned just like him, turning the corner. Colby whimpered quietly, intertwining his fingers with mine.
"I'll pick you up tomorrow at 8am," I mumbled, stopping the car outside of his house.
"Ok," he mumbled back. I reached over and put a hand on his cheek, kissing him.
"Thanks for tonight," he grinned, pulling away and wrapping his arms around me.
"No problem" I laughed, kissing his cheek softly.
"I miss you already and I've not even left," he giggled, his soft purple hair against my neck.
"Oh don't you worry, the feeling's mutual. Keep the blanket, by the way," I chuckled softly, playing with his slightly-overgrown locks.
"I was hoping you'd say that," he giggled, shuffling back over to his side and opening the door.
"Bye," he grinned. I quickly leaned over and gave him a last kiss before he left.
"Bye," I grinned even more than he had. I watched as he walked up the path and went inside, waving at me as he got to the door. I waved back and started the car up, driving away from his small street.
"I think I've fallen in love with you, Colby Brock," I sighed to myself, driving away with him on my mind."Samuel! Where have you been?" My dad exclaimed as I walked through the door.
"I Uh.. I was taking my b-boyfriend on a date. Is that alright?" My usual burst of confidence faulted, then got itself back to normal.
"Boyfriend?" He furrowed his eyebrows.
"Yes, my boyfriend. Is that hard to grasp? I'm gay," I laughed, feeling comfortable with the sentence just coming out like nothing.
"Gay?" He shook his head.
"Yes. Exactly that. I have a boyfriend, and I am GAY! That ok with you? Doesn't matter if it's not, your opinion won't change me," I shrugged, walking past him to my room.~
Woah double update what's going on??
