Leah p.o.v

God, it felt good.Finally turning into my wolf form.It had been 2 weeks since I last shifted.I lived in the city and had to wait until I came back to my home town to shift.Well you cannot just walk down the footpath in your wolf form.Imagine that, a six foot tall wolf walking down your street.We had to hide ourselves.And in the protection of the forest was where we let ourselves free, well our other-half-selves.

Anyway,it was good to finally stretch and flex my muscles and have a good run.I was currently running with Jake a.k.a my alpha.He was the only one who was able to keep up with me.I was the fastest in the pack.We were currently doing a perimeter run of our territory.

"See ya at the party Leah.Bye."Jake said through our mind link."Yeah.Bye."I said and we both headed back to our respective houses.

I shifted back into my human form near the edge of the forest, a t-shirt was kept there,it was Seth's(my brother).We always had clothes lying around a few spots in case of emergencies.I went inside to my room.The good thing about my room in Ray's(my step-father)house was that it had a door from which you could enter directly from outside,it was convenient for when I shifted.And the house was at the edge of the forest,another bonus.

Ray used to be my father's best friend.And when my father died he took care of my mother and la la la,It was love and that's that.

When I entered my room I noticed a white sundress with floral print laying on my bed.Really.No way was that mine.A note was  kept on it.I went ahead and picked it up.

It read, "Wear this to the party.No arguments.-love mom".

That was my mother for you.Ever the dictator.I showered,got dressed in that stupid sundress.Now time to do my hair.It grew 3 inches today.That always happened when I shifted after a long time.I tried to tame it,but it was too cumbersome.So I was let it fall naturally.Time to head out to the party.

 Embry p.o.v

 It had been almost two and a half years since I had last visited home.Well it wasn't cheap communicating all the way from California to here.I had worked my ass off to get a scholarship, to get into a good university for a degree in architecture. And all the extra money I earned from my part time job went into boarding and utilities,it was a miracle that I had saved enough money for this trip.It was hard work but it was my only way to...I don't know,become something I guess.And to earn enough money to give my mother the life she deserved.

Anyway, enough with the heavy.Right now Quil and I were near the barbecue hogging anything we could get our hands on.It was Sam and Jesse's 2nd anniversary.

I felt her before I saw her.Leah.I was going to see her after all this time.I had always liked being near her,not in a creepy way.But it was like whenever I was near her I felt at peace or something.

You know that line "She took my breathe away". Yeah, that is exactly how I felt when I saw her.Long brown hair,falling like waves all the way down till her waist,framing her beautiful face,her deep green eyes,her full lips.I wanted to kiss them.What?Where had that come from.I knew I had always felt attracted to Leah,but what I was felling right now was a hundred times more than I had felt for any girl before.I couldn't stop looking at her,her face,her body.She had the most sensual body,all the right curves,yet somehow slim.Smooth long legs.her knees were you know uhmm not wrinkly.You know how people have like wrinkly knees,hers were smooth,and it was somehow extremely sexy.Her fingers were long and slim and delicate.And her collarbone,god I wanted to lick it,kiss it,trace it.Kiss the little dip between them........

I wanted her.I had never wanted anything so bad before.I wanted to make her mine.

Leah p.o.v

As soon as i entered the party Jesse ran up to me and hugged me."Oh god Leah its been so long since I last saw you.You must have been so busy with your job.And thank you so much for coming".Jesse chirped.This seemed odd, Jesse was cheerful at times but never this chirpy.She was always the kind, calm and collected one.

When I hugged her back I understood the reason why.There was a slight but firm bulge around her stomach.I smilled."Ofcourse Jesse.I would never give a chance to miss your fab cooking for anything in the world."Jesse grinned at this."And by the way when am I going to get the chance to meet my niece or nephew".She looked at my face in confusion.But when i pointed at her stomach with my eyes, she started turning as red as a tomato."Oh my god Leah.How did u know.We haven't told anyone yet.But it is so good that you are the first one to find out....."She chirped away.

I looked around the garden where the party was taking place.Everyone was there ,the ladies were in a corner gossiping, the men around the barbeque. Cooking and hooging. The older women inside the kitchen and children running everywhere around the garden.My eyes fell on Embry and Quil.

Quil was watching his mate play with the children.She was 12 and Quil was around 20.I know this might seem a little pedophilic to others but it was not his fault.Werewolves imprinted on their mates and they had no control over it.And we all knew that Quil did not think of her that way,he was kind of like an over possessive protector/older brother right now.

Then my eyes focused on Embry, his eyes were unabashedly roaming all over my body.Oh god men were such wolves in this case, literally.(Get it 'literally' as in they are werewolves...never mind bad joke)Before I could go and rip his eyes out of their sockets,Quil saw my look and slapped Embry on the back of his head and dragged him away.I don't think that was enough but just then my mom called me in the kitchen.Well his eyes would have to stay in their sockets....for now.
