Socrates said "From the deepest desires often come the deadliest hate."
Matt flicked through his manila folder of the case. "This killer must have a lot of hate, look at everyone they've hurt, that has to be what's driving them, at least partly. But they also have this strong almost deep desire to heal, why else would they work in a hospital? Something has be going wrong, if only to them. What could be driving them to kill so many people?" Matt questioned. They re-entered the conference room and started to reread their files while Luke and Tara went to grab their dinner, today was burgers, and fries which pointed to it being Luke's turn to choose. Reid bit into his chicken burger as the others began to slowly eat as well discussing the facts they had found out from the case. Reid chewed thoughtfully while Emily and JJ were silent trying to remember why they had had such a nagging feeling when seeing that doctor. The cheerful sound of Garcia calling in, drew the team's attention, though Emily and Reid were only paying half the attention they usually did. "Hello Justice League!" Garcia sang, her voice laced with mirth and an impish grin on her face. "What do you have Garcia?" Rossi questioned, "Well, I was hoping you had more for me." Rossi smiled fondly at the analyst.
"Every drug gets to where it needs to be." Everyone turned to stare at Reid, this proved difficult for Garcia as she was facing away from Reid. "Turn me round." Matt reached over and turned the laptop around for her. "Thanks, Superman." Matt grinned in triumph to Luke who pouted, but before he could complain, Emily seemed to shake herself out of whatever trance she was in and say, "What is it, Reid?" Reid wiped his fingers on a napkin and repeated what he had said. "Every drug gets to where it needs to be. Thomas Bellamy mentioned that when we talked to him, he said that he and Alexis both made sure that the drugs got to where they needed to be." Rossi turned to Emily, "We did profile one of them would have access to drugs." JJ looked up, "Everything on Alexis and Thomas, Garcia." There were a few moments of frantic typing before Garcia replayed breathless, "Black Canary, you scare me." JJ gave understanding shake of her head. "Thomas Bellamy and Alexis Barnes-Rogers, both work at Charity Grace Hospital in their drug dispensary. There's a third worker, she's just back today, been on holiday overseas, her name's, Elizabeth Hyde. Oh, oh...Alexis...she...she recently gave drugs to a Doctor Nathaniel Fee for a surgery, but the patient died before the scheduled surgery." Tara cut in, "How did the patient die, Garcia?" Garcia hummed, "Cardiac arrest. Guys, there's something else, the drugs weren't returned." Emily stood, "Send us..." Everyone's phones pinged, "Already done, they are no longer at hospital, security footage shows them leaving separately, haven't pinged their phones yet, I have sent half of you Nathaniel's address, the other's to Alexis'." The team nodded and headed off to their destinations.
Emily, Reid, JJ and Luke hopped into one SUV while Rossi, Tara and Matt got into another. Emily pulled outside Nathaniel Fee's house when she got a call from Matt, "No one's here." Emily shut off the engine, "Alright, stay where you are and call CSU, get them to check the place, call Garcia see if she can ping his phone." She gave the instructions as they walked up the driveway, when they arrived at the door, Luke knocked. Reid looked around, but he missed the white car that held shadows a few cars down on the opposite side of the road. There was no answer, JJ looked in the window, "Emily." She cocked her head towards the window. "Hang on." She told Matt, she looked in the window. "When you get CSU on the phone, send them here, we have two bodies." Luke called the Jayne who was back at the police station and informed her of the situation. A few moments later, CSU had shown up with some patrol men and Jayne. Matt and his small group showed up as well to observe the bodies of the Doctor and the Tech, there was a syringe by Alexis' body and an empty bottles of morphine. Nathaniel had a shoelace tied tightly around his arm, a needle was sticking out of his am. Spreadsheets that showed the trail of missing bottles lay scattered around. Alexis was covered in blood, looking beaten. Emily sighed, "She must have found out he was using her, he had the time to commit the killings, Garcia found he wasn't in surgery at those times. She called by to confront him and he snapped. Killed her. He evidently couldn't take what he'd done, she hadn't needed to be saved from her pain. He only 'helped' those he believed needed it. Angel of Mercy killers don't seem to want to hurt their victims just ease their pain."
The team nodded and left as they were leaving a white car, which had two people in drove down the street away from the crime scene. The BAU team headed back to the station to pack up. Once they were done there, they checked with the chief that there was nothing they were needed for, as they were done they headed over to the hotel to grab their gear before heading to the airport.
