All too soon disrupted by a rapid series of knocks on their hotel room door. Luke grumbled as Reid sat up blearily, Luke flung the door open, lips turning into a snarl. JJ looked surprised on the other side, "its morning, why aren't you ready?" JJ states looking at her two tired colleagues. "We have to go. Fifteen minutes. Meeting in the lobby." JJ yawned around her sentence, "Matt's gone for coffee." Luke nodded and shut the door on JJ's retreating back. He turned, shared a look with Reid before they both raced childishly to the bathroom. Luke cheered as he won, quickly changing, showering and splashing cold water on his face. Luke let Reid in who had already gathered his clothing, Reid showered before splashing his face with cold water as well. Soon they were downstairs with the rest of their ragtag group. Each member took a long draft of their coffee before heading out. They split up, a few of them heading to the station while the others headed to the hospital to talk to the possible suspects.

Rossi, Matt, and Luke arrived at the police station, they stared at the pile of paperwork waiting for them. "Where's Reid when you need him?" Luke asked with a groan. "At the hospital, helping interview doctors as he and Tara understand the medical jargon while we do not." Matt told the agent beside him. "You are more than welcome to swap with one of them and deal with the arrogant, boarding on narcissistic, stubborn, control freak doctors?" Rossi teased the younger agent. "No, thanks." Luke replied with a tone boarding on relief, as he headed towards the table stacked with files. Each of them took a seat and pulled the files toward them, after a few hours of finding nothing relevant, the skype call rang, its joyful noise contrasting the heavy air in the room. Matt and Luke both dropped their files and childishly launched themselves towards the distraction. Rossi looked over the top of his files, amusement causing his lips to tilt upwards and his eyes to dance with mirth. Luke won the miniature battle and clicked to answer. Garcia appeared onscreen, she was dressed in dark blue dress with a multi-coloured cardigan which had all the colours mixing together almost perfectly, and her glasses had frames which completed the ensemble. She scowled when she saw Luke, "Newbie." Luke's moniker was said with such derision, that the cop who was walking past the open door paused and looked in but at Matt and Rossi's shared smirk moved on. Luke groaned good-naturedly, "Come on, Garcia, are you going to stop calling me that?" Matt moved his chair so he could view the analyst's reaction. "Never." She picked her Octopus mug and took a swig before spitting it back into the mug. "What the bio-hazardous material is this?" She asked staring down at her spoiled tea. Luke unsuccessfully held back a smirk. Garcia's eyes narrowed, "I have information that might help, newbie." Matt decided to cut in at this point despite wanting to hear more of Luke's failed flirtatious banter with the sharp tongued analyst. "What do you have, Penelope?" Garcia gave a rundown of everything she had found and promised to inform the others, with her usual wit she hung up. She couldn't help hanging up with a teasing throwaway remark towards Luke.

JJ, Reid, Emily and Tara got out of their SUV and headed into the hospital, they missed the shadow that was watching them from above. The white coated shadow disappeared when Reid looked up. Once they arrived, the Head of the Hospital Mae Othello-Freemont began to show them to the conference room that had been set up for interviews. "Each of them has varying schedules and may need to leave if there is a Code Blue." Mae sighed, waving her hand to show the small conference room that she had for them. Emily nodded, "Thank you." Mae turned to her assistant and asked her to grab the first on the list, as the strawberry blonde woman left the team entered the conference room minus Mae. No one noticed the shadow watching them.

Emily decided that they would split up, her and Tara, Reid and JJ. The first doctor arrived for his interview, he was tall, well built, was of Korean descent, he had black hair and dark eyes, he spoke with an eloquent tone which had lacing of arrogance. "Doctor Nathaniel Fee?" Emily looked over at him, he scoffed. "Obviously." Tara pressed her lips together in an effect to not give a sardonic remark and looked back down her paper work, "Okay Doctor. What can you tell us about the patients who died?" Nathaniel scoffed and began explaining the procedures and what he would have down differently. They managed to gather that he didn't know who the Angel of Mercy killer was, but he had an idea on how they sorted the drugs, although he wouldn't share claiming to have a surgery.

JJ and Reid were running into the same problems, they were talking with Nadia Flowers an ER doctor who had treated a couple of the patients. Nadia rolled her shoulders when she sat and rolled her head and neck to relive some of the stiffness. She adjusted her hajib so that it fell right, her slender cinnamon fingers wiggling to relive their own stiffness. "Do you know who N.F is in these notes?" JJ asked handing over a file. Nadia furrowed her brow as she read over the various scribbles. "A lot of people working here have similar initials so occasionally there's an added note or a small drawing to show who they mean. For example when they wish to consult me they often draw a simple flower by the F. so whomever looks at the notes next know they mean me. Otherwise, I can't help, sorry." Reid asked her medical questions relating to the cause of death and her treatment received, Nadia looked impressed with his knowledge while at times JJ looked confused when she couldn't follow, when this happened either Reid or Nadia would explain what was meant, Nadia was kinder than the others with her explanations.

Natalia Fay entered the conference room which Emily and Tara had set up in. She managed to school her face into one of passive politeness. Emily smiled at her tiredly, taking a draft of her coffee. Tara looked up and was struck by a similarity which nagged at her in the corner of her mind, however as she couldn't place it, she pushed it away. The lithe, slender woman slipped daintily into the seat offered, her long black hair was once again pulled back in braids with what appeared to be small, synthetic blue flowers were dotted throughout. Emily and Tara began to question her, Natalia's responses were angelic and eloquent, although there was a measured tone to her voice. Tara brought up the initials written in the notes, and Natalia pursed her lips, raising her eyebrows and shrugged showing the agents she had no idea what they were for but suggested that they meant Nathaniel Fee who was Head of Infectious Diseases and as such often consulted. Natalia rose and with graceful movements shook the agent's hands, telling them she hoped they caught the killer. Emily dropped her head with a groan, she turned to face the other conference room. She saw a short, fuller figured, blonde leave, and with a quick glance down at her file identified her as Nina Foster, leave from the conference room Reid and JJ had set up in. Reid had noticed Natalia leave Emily's conference room and was struck once more with the feeling of familiarity, this time JJ caught a glance at her and had the same nagging feeling, but like Tara pushed it away. JJ recalled back to Nina's interview, she had been no help either, she had told them however, and that getting the killer getting their hands on the drugs would have been difficult as morphine was only handed to the doctor administering it and usually right before hand as well. This piece of information complicated things.

The four agents left their respective conferences rooms and met outside in the hall, as they walked to the exit, Tara remembered that the hospital doctors would see a dispensary for the drugs. The small group walked through another hallway towards the small room. When they arrived, Emily recognised Natalia, she was talking with a coffee skinned man who appeared to be of Filipino descent, Natalia and the mysterious talked with each other for a few moments before kissing quickly when her pager beeped and she ran past the agents.

The mysterious man opened a side door disappearing into it, another younger woman left it, door shutting behind her. Emily, JJ, Tara, and Reid walked up to the window as the pale skinned, young woman left, passing by them, her curled red hair bouncing with each step. "Can I help you?" The man asked, eyeing each member of the BAU as they flashed their badges, he nodded, "Agents." Reid glanced around the small room, that the man was in. "You can start by telling us your name?" Emily requested. "Thomas Bellamy, most people call me Tommy." JJ nodded, "The doctor that was with you?" she questioned politely. Tommy laughed lightly, "My wife, Natalia Fay, she's a doctor here." They each nodded, "Do you mind if we ask you a few questions?" Tara asked politely. Tommy shrugged and leaned forwards on the counter in front of him, arranging his legs behind him. "How often do you get audited?" Tommy looked up in surprise, "Every three weeks or so, the drugs in here have a high street value and I, for one, do not want to learn that from a newspaper or some other media report." Reid looked down at the clipboard on the other side of the glass. "Do all drugs have to be signed out?" Tommy sighed, rose and looked at the clipboard. "Yeah, helps us keep track for auditing. Doctors put in requests, I sort them, they are picked up by either the intern, the nurse or the doctor, and the drugs get signed out. Every drug gets to where it needs to be. Alexis, my co-worker and I make sure of that." Emily's brow furrowed, "Do the drugs get returned here if they are unused?" Tommy nodded, "If they've been opened they get disposed of and if they are unopened we generally use them for someone else." The four agents nodded, "Thanks for your help." Tommy nodded and turned to start work when Reid asked one last question. "When are the drugs collected for surgery?" Tommy turned back to the curious agent, "right beforehand, maybe an hour or half an hour so it's ready with the patient." Reid nodded and followed his colleagues down the hallway and out of the hospital. Once more a white coated shadow was watching them.
