It's been about five days since I had my encounter with the hooded man, and, so far, there's been no sign of anyone, or anything out of the ordinary. Today is one of the last few days to our trip. According to Jay we were about two days from our destination. At around noon, we stopped to take a break. It was snowing lightly, but that didn't stop us from taking a much needed stretch.

"Mmm, it feels good to get a break," Lynari grinned," It's a little hard to believe we're almost done with this job."

"We still have another day to go before we reach Thesila city," I said.

"True. I'm looking forward to getting there. I've heard it's a really big travel city."

"Alright everyone, time to go!" Ana called from the wagon.

we finished out our day of travel and stopped for the night. I ended up being the only one awake again when it got late. I couldn't held but feel on edge. The man in the cloak had said that someone would come after Ana, but so far that hasn't happened.

Suddenly, Lynari was awake; her hand flew to her sword laying at her side," You hear that?" She whispered.

I nodded. Something was outside. Slowly, I crept towards the back of the wagon. Lynari followed. Through the darkness that surrounded us it was impossible to see more than a few feet. I activated my skill [White Fox Form] to see. Lynari's eyes went wide as my hair lengthened and stained white with blue ends. She gawked at my new fox ears and tail, along with my light blue eyes.

"I'll explain it later," I mouthed to her. She nodded.

"You better," was her reply.

I looked back outside to see two figures in cloaks hiding nearby. Seven other human auras were slowly advancing on our position. I held up four fingers to Lynari and gestured to the left, then five pointing right.

"I'll take the ones on the left," She nodded.

"3...2...1..." I counted down. When I hit zero, the two of us leapt from the wagon and charged at the enemies.

Our sudden appearance startled them. I was able to immobilize four of my five before they had a chance to react. The fifth wasn't as easy to shock, and easily dodged my spell [Ice Prison] I had the advantage of speed, though, and advanced faster than the figure could get away. In an instant, I had them disarmed and pinned on the ground under me.

"Who sent you," I demanded. The man glared at me silently. His eyes widened as I dug my claws into his arm, and I asked again," Who sent you?"

"Glory to the Silver Phoenix." The man said.

The others near me said the same," Glory to the Silver Phoenix."

"Lynari, get down!" I shouted, leaping off the man as he and his companions activated a self destruct spell. As the explosions went off, I encased the wagon in an [Iced Shell] to protect Ana and the others.

When the smoke cleared, all that was left of the attackers were black scorch marks around the area.

I was glad to see that Lynari looked to be unharmed, and released the spell on the wagon.

"What was that?" Lynari asked, wide eyed," Who were those guys?"

"Agents of a group called Silver Phoenix. Assassins. They used a self destruct spell to keep us from getting information out of them," I said, walking over to her," you're not hurt, are you?"

Lynari shook her head," I'm fine. Thanks for the warning," she said," What do you think they were after?"

"Ana, most likely," I answered," There's something she isn't telling us."
