~ Haren ~
After their two week break, Haren and the others returned to their normal class schedule. Surprisingly, the last two months of the school year went by relatively quickly. There were no more incidents like what happened with the shadow wolves in the forest.
Before he knew it, it was August second. The final day of school.
The teachers had gathered all three years of students in the dinning hall after lunch. Saying the headmistress would be making an announcement.
A half an hour of waiting later, the headmistress finally arrived.
A hush fell over the room as she walked over to the front of the hall.
"Thank you for your patience, everyone," Haren decided she was using some kind of magic to make her voice louder since he was sitting on the opposite side of the room and could hear her just fine," I'll make this quick since I'm sure many of you are eager to leave. Firstly, I'd like to say thank you for being a wonderful group this year. I look forward to seeing what next year will bring. As always the third years will be attending the graduation ceremony at the cathedral in Velona on the fourth. I wish you all a good day. Enjoy your break."
The room erupted in a roar of noise as the students started to head out to the halls.
Haren waited until almost everyone else had left before leaving himself.
Passing the front doors, he saw a number of carriages outside picking up students. He also felt the cold of the air outside and hurried on.
When he got down to the door, he found that Silver was the only one not back yet.
Sylviana and Elviya had found a table to play a game of cards, Nephinae was laying on the floor in front of the couch with Rala, Luna, and Emiko. August was sitting on the two person couch with a book.
"Hey Haren, where's Silver?" Elviya asked.
"I thought he was with you," Haren replied sitting at their table.
"We thought he was with you," Sylviana Said.
"Huh. Weird. He probably went to talk to the headmistress then," Haren leaned back in his chair.
At around three o'clock the door to the commons opened. Haren expected it to be Silver, but the person that walked in was Alphonse.
He cleared his throat to get everyone's attention," the headmistress would like to see you all in her office. Please allow me to escort you there."
"Why does she want to see all of us?" Sylviana asked as they followed him to the hall.
"She didn't say," Alphonse replied.
When they got to the headmistress's office, the headmistress wasn't sitting at her desk. Alphonse led them into the connecting office.
The first thing Haren noticed was Elise sitting at the desk. Silver was sitting on a couch.
"Hello again," she waved to them," please have a seat."
Haren and Nephinae sat with Silver and the others sat on the couch facing them.
"So," Elise began once Alphonse had left the room," How were things?"
"Good," Sylviana propped her elbow up on the armrest.
"I'm glad," the princess stood from her seat and walked around to the front of the desk. She slipped her shoes off and hopped up on the desk," you're all probably wondering why I called you here."
"This is about our 'winter classes' right?" Silver put air quotes around the words winter classes.
"Right you are," Elise grinned," you might've guessed this already based on what I told you last time we saw each other, but you won't be here at the academy for those Said classes."
