Gabrielle had always been mine, though I know she's messed around with other guys and even some girls we've always been together. Sometimes when she'd come home late from a party drunk she'd talk about the guys she fucked and it broke my heart. I don't know why, I didn't love her, we were in it for popularity but it was messed up.

One morning in class there was a new girl sitting in the back, her hair was a beautiful strawberry blonde and her eyes were and amazing shade of blue. Like an ocean and I can assure you I would drown in them. When my group(the popular group) sat down at our desks, Gabrielle looked at me and then the girl in the back and scoffed.
"What?" I ask
"She's really ugly" Gabrielle shrugs, I look back at the beautiful girl who was now staring at Gabrielle, she glanced at me and smiled slightly but all I did was turn back around. I wish I had smiled. Maybe things would be different if I smiled, but they're not. This is the way the world works. I can't do anything to change that.

At lunch that day Gabrielle left our table to go sit with the new girl, she motioned for me to follow. I did and we sat across from her, she looks up surprised.
"Hey" Gabrielle says
"Hi" she replies with a precious smile, I can't take my eyes off her.
"I'm Gabrielle, that's my boyfriend Chase" She says, I look at my food knowing if I look at her again I won't be able to look away.
"I'm Aspen" she says quietly.
"Aspen Elise?" Gabrielle says in an excited voice, I look at Gabbie and she's up to something.
"You know my brother?" Aspen asks quietly. Aspen. That's a beautiful name for a beautiful girl, my heart flutters.
"Who doesn't?!? He's only the hottest guy on instagr-" Gabrielle starts but then Aspen looks at me with those beautiful blue eyes.
"Ok I know he's hot but just because your brother is like famous doesn't mean you can steal my boyfriend" Gabrielle remarks
"No I wasn-" aspen tries to say but gets cut off.
"Tell your brother to call me" Gabbie says and gets up.
"You have a boyfriend..." Aspen remarks.
"Are YOU giving ME dating advice" Gabrielle says rather rudely. Aspen goes quiet.
"That's what I thought" Gabbie quotes and starts walking away.
"Bye Aspen" the words slip from my lips.
"Bye Chase..." she whispers, my name sounds so amazing coming out of her mouth. Her strawberry blonde hair flows over her shoulders and her perfectly curled eye lashes close gently with each blink. She's perfect.
