Rue
Dude, what the fuck happened to me
"Am I dead?" I asked myself out loud as I sat up from a soft surface.
I observed the area I was in and noticed it looked very similar to my bedroom.
Am I in heaven?
"God?" I questioned once again.
"No it's not God, you're really close though." I turned to see Jason walking into the room with a mug and a wet rag.
Don't get attached . I heard a voice say.
Is that coming from my head?
No it's not coming from my head.
"Is there someone else in here?" I asked.
He shook his head and placed the mug on the bedside table.
Leave as soon as possible. The voice said again.
"I'm hearing shit. Am I drunk? Did I get drunk?" I got up from my bed and ran to the mirror to check my eyes.
But instead I found another horror.
The bruise on my neck got a little bigger, and there was another bruise on my wrist that looked similar to the bruise on my neck.
"Oh my god." I gasped. I placed my hand over my mouth in horror at the sight of me.
I felt a tear coming from my eye.
"I'd wipe your tears away for you, but I can't touch you." Jason was standing behind me looking at my bruises.
He had a look of regret come across his face along with another look of sympathy.
"What's happening to me?! Why does it hurt!" I shouted as I shamelessly let the tears run down my cheeks.
"I'm not sure." I can tell he was thinking about something.
"I lose my memories and I get these hideous painful bruises on me-" I stopped myself. "Wait what do you mean you can't touch me. What did you do?"
"Woah." He put his hands up in defense. "I did nothing. If we just met, and you had that bruise before I met you it clearly has nothing to do with me."
"You know something Jason. I can tell by your body language."
He was stiff when he first saw me. He asked me if I'm okay without even knowing me. He keeps sending me sympathetic looks. He asked me about my bruise when it was clearly covered with makeup.
He knows something.
"What do you know?" I took a threatening step towards him.
He took a step back and remained quiet.
"What do you know?" I took another step towards him.
"This isn't a very ideal situation for someone like me." He said avoiding the question.
My interrogation was cut short as my mother busted into the room.
"Some boy is here for you two. Should I invite him in?"
"Invite who in?" I looked at Jason through my peripheral vision.
He nodded his head.
"Okay." She awkwardly looked at the two of us before heading downstairs.
Not too long after Hunter came in with some man.
"Mute her hearing." The man said.
"Mute my hea-" I couldn't hear anything.
