"I sent Dani out to get my son and the girl's family. They should be here any minute Haley, and after that, we can use you as a way to get my son back. Remember, that's the main goal of this operation." The king and Hayley we're currently discussing what they're going to do once Jason, my dad, and Jeff arrive.

I've been hanging here for the past hour and a half going in and out of consciousness. I don't feel anything anymore. The stinging pain that I once felt turned numb, my emotions turned numb as well. Everything that I once felt was now gone.

I had no regard for what happened next, if I die or if I live, by the end of it whatever the outcome I don't care.

"How is Dani going to find them sir? Her future seeing powers are never accurate and if they are, they are only in regards to her future."

"Dani is highly intelligent. I know her future seeing powers suck, but her not-so-hidden ability to track other vampires, and her mind melding ability is far from reach. She will succeed. I know she will." King responded.

"And how sure should we be that this whole plan in itself is going to work? What if Jason hates me by this point. What if he asks about our son? We can't have him knowing what's going on with him." Hayley said.

They were speaking freely around me. I can tell they weren't aware of the fact that I was fully conscious right now. I'm going to take in this information and use it against them if I get out of this situation.

"Hayley he won't hate you. Trust me." King places a reassuring hand on her shoulder. "That boy has been in love with you since the beginning of time. You were the one to bear his first son. You hold a significant value in his life."

"But the girl." They both turned to look at me.

She gave me a disgusted look, then turned back towards the king and resumed their conversation.

"Once she and her family are dead he will have nothing else to fight for. He will become submissive and we will have him in our hands again."

"Is he really that valuable to you King?"

The king looked away and nodded his head.

"Yes. As my only son and heir to the throne, it's vital we keep him on our side, also he was extremely strong before I wiped his memories away and forced him to only drink animal blood."

"Does it even matter?" Hayley looked confused at this point. "You're a vampire, you don't die. You can be king for as long as like-ever! Why do you need your son to become king?"

She had a good point. Why is he so keen on Jason becoming king if there's a very low possibility that he's to die? I mean, it seems as if everyone loves him so no one would even attempt to assassinate him.

"I don't know." He shrugged, looking away from her. "It's not the time to discuss about me. Let's get ready."

I watched as they both walked through a door into another room. I looked down towards Hunter who was still unconscious, then looked back towards the door to see the two walk out with multiple weapons.

"The Levi squad is camping around the perimeters of the home, if Francis or Jeff are to enter, this will be our primary defense." King explained.

"What about the innocent vampires who live here?" She questioned.

Boy, she was asking a lot of questions.

"They are currently being evacuated by the Emergency team."

"What makes you certain we would succeed, what if we fail or suffer a major loss."
