IMPORTANT

I hate that I'm having to address this again, but if you read the most recent chapter and FINISHED it, then by this point it should be clear that I am trying to have Jason's character developed. These next few chapters are his fall-and-rise chapters. I will have him grow as an individual.

Of course it's not going to happen in an instant. But I promise you guys, Jason will be less useless in the upcoming chapters. Of course after what happened with Samuel, Jason will possibly remain unlikable, but that's how I wanted the plot to progress. It is my book, my image—my story.

It's been stated multiple times that Jason is weak. He consumes animal blood, and is evidently bonded to his father. King has presumably killed not only Jasons ex-wife Hayley, but killed his son too. Jason still loved his father and does what he says. Ask yourselves this question. Is that normal? Is Jason tied to something?

Jason has been going through a lot of shit with secrets coming out, and he isn't mentally strong enough to deal with it and his physical strength unfortunately reflects that.

It's ALSO been stated that Jason is not at his full potential. If you recall chapter 36– somewhere in there Samuels children stated how Jason was the "strongest little vampire kid until his father wiped away his memories the FIRST time" and how they were utterly disappointed at what he's become since he couldn't fight off the 6 vampires. They've stated that Jason has extreme potential to become extremely strong especially if he consumes human but I am building that up slowly. Once again, with this recent chapter, that should be obvious.

Once again I apologize if Jason is incredibly annoying. That's what I wanted him to be. Once again, his character will start to develop soon. The more you guys complain, the less I want to write, or the more harder it is for me to write. Please just trust the process.

Thank you.
