Tris POV One week later

I run through the door and everyone has circled a wolf. I feel the pain of the wolf seeping through my veins as the distance between the crowd becomes shorter an shorter. I begin to push my way through the wolves and some of them jump as they see me. I thought they would have gotten used to me by now, but I thought wrong. I finally make my way through and I black wolf lays there impaled by a knife. A shiver finds it's way down my spine as I'm almost positive who did this.

I go up to the wolf and hold my head against their chest to feel for a pulse. Nothing. I hold it there longer just to see if there is a tiny chance of survival, but I know I'm too late. I spot nine tails sticking in the air moving through the crowd. Everyone makes a solid path for him to move through.

What happened? He mind links me.

I don't know, I walked in and she was laying here. I say and he nods in belief.

You clear them out, I'll get the healers. He says and I stand in front of everyone. I fluff my wings out to look stronger and block the view.

EVERY ON CLEAR OUT BEFORE I MAKE YOU! I mind link them all and they shuffle out but not before bowing. Sometimes I forget that I'm the one who controls them. They normally only answer to Four, but I get it, it takes some time to get used to. Once they're all gone I turn back to Four. He stares for a second.

Four, there gone, what's wrong? I ask and he shakes his head and stares at a paper with red staining the corners. He passes the note to me and I read it.

Hand her over before you don't have a pack. I try to smell the note to see if it has a scent but it just smells like blood. Two wolves run in and drag the body out and I hear Fur howl for Uri and Zeke. They both run in and I've never realized the visible strength on both of them. There very large wolves and they have great coloring. Four transforms first and they follow, I think it's cause he wants me to hear.

"I want you guys to keep a watch on Tris at all times until we figure out who is making threats, Uri tells Shauna she is to stay with Tris at night and Tell max to surround the perimeter. I want Zeke to follow Tris over to the insurgents to ask Natt for some extra help" I Sigh and he walks up to me and crouches to eye level.

"It's just a precaution, I don't want to lose you again," He says and I roll my eyes. "I know you can handle yourself, I just want a little peace in mind, okay" I nod and turn to the door. I run out and see Zeke transform out of the corner of my eye. Well if he's got to watch me I might as well make it hard. I speed up and run into the forest making my way to the Insurgent packhouse. Zeke barks behind me trying to get me to slow down but I just go faster. I use the little vampire [art of me to push me faster and he continues to bark.

Within a minute or so I make it to the packhouse and wait a few minutes for Zeke to catch up. He stands there and catches his breath. Once he's breathing normally I walk in the packhouse and I can tell they've already gained another thousand members. I mean a lot of people join if they run away from there pack and the amount of rouges has died down. A lot of people send friendly waves my way and I spot Violetta, Zander, and a pup. I sprint over to them and they smile.

"Who's this little guy" I bark at them and they smile.

"This is Keanu, he's about a week old, but he's growing fast" They bark back and I smile at the little guy.

"Hey is Natt in his office?" I ask them and they nod. "Thanks," I say as I run upstairs. I barge through the office door and tell eke to wait downstairs.

"Oh, hey Tris," He says and I smile. "Did you finally want to tell me your story?" He says and I smile.

"Well, I need help, but it's not urgent so I wouldn't mind telling you the story too" I state and he smiles.
