Chapter 4

I stayed over night a fours but I'm leaving today. He's tried to kill me and at the moment I cant trust him. He wanted to rule my pack along with his own. He only like me because he gets to join packs.

Tris maybe its' not like that. Ocean has been trying to convince me but a wolf doesn't attack another wolf for no reason and that reason is he wants more power.

Just because were mates doesn't mean he isn't the same wolf that trapped me in his office and tried to kill me. He's still the same wolf that pounced on me in the woods.

I get up and put on a sweater he gave me and walk downstairs. He making something and by the smell of it, it's eggs.

"Hey" he says trying to sound peaceful but I know his acts.

"I reject you" I say with no emotion. I watch as his eyes fill with hurt and pain. Probably because he wont get to join packs and make the most powerful pack that the world has seen. But he made his decision and I've made mine.

Yeah!!!wait to go Tris!!! you don't need a man Veronica says in my head way too happy.

Stop it V we all know she likes him. Ocean fires back

Yeah and that's definitely why she rejected him I hear as veronica laughs.

Ok girls that's enough. I tell them both and they shut up.

I walk into the pack house and Shauna is standing there with a huge smile.

"Why are you so happy?" I ask curiously.

"I found my mate" She states and sounds really happy. I just roll my eyes.

"looks like someone found theirs too, and by the looks of it you aren't to happy about who it is" She says as she wiggles her eyebrows. How the heck did she know that. I feel my mouth drop.

"Ooh Trissy who's the boy and please don't say Uriah" I wiggle my eye brows back at her.

"only if you tell me who yours is first" She pouts a minute but finally gives in.

"Zeke" My mouth drops open.

"SHAUNA THAT IS URIAH'S OLDER BROTHER" I scream and the whole pack house turns to look at us. I see her nod her head like she doesn't even care.

"Also I'm moving to dauntless in a week so I was hoping my sister could be beta" I think about it. Lynn is a lot like me. She's also really fun.

"Yeah that's perfectly fine and I'm gonna miss you" I hug her and I hope she forgot her question for me.

"So who's the lucky guy Trissy " She says as again she wriggles her eyebrows at me. I guess she didn't forget.

"four" I mumble under my breath. Her eyes practically pop out of her head.

"YOU MEAN THE ALPHA NINE TAIL THAT TRIED TO KILL YOU TWICE IS YOUR MATE!!" She says as loud as possible. Once again everyone is staring at us and most of them have there mouth dropped open. I hear a bunch of people start yelling.

'ARE WE JOINING PACKS?!" Someone yells

"ARE YOU REALLY A NINE TAIL"

"HAVE YOU BEEN MATED TO ANOTHER NINE TAIL" They all start closing in on me. Shauna goes full wolf and stands in front of me trying to get them to back off. She starts to push me and I run to my room.

I walk in and...

The whole room is covered in roses. I find a note.

I know I cant be forgiven for all I've done to you and there is no excuse. But if you can ever find it in your heart to forgive me I will be here waiting. As long as It takes

I wont give up.

As soon as I finish the letter music starts playing. It's coming from the dining hall. I rush out of the room and someone way too familiar is on the stage playing 'Hold on" by Chord Overstreet.

He stares me in the eye as he sings but a little but before the end I just shake my head and leave.

The door slams shut as he finishes and I walk back to my room. I open the door and Shauna is already there tapping her foot.

"your really not going to forgive him." She has sympathy in her eyes and It's not for me. It's for him.

"He only wants power." She shakes her head.

"If that's what you think fine, but Zeke is throwing a party and he said you could come" I shake my head.

"You're going or I'm telling everyone your real name isn't Tris" I finally surrender and She hands me a dress.

"One of his friends told me to give this to you if you said you would go. She holds up a skin tight black dress that had a weird cut around the neck, I put in some black eyeshadow and lipstick and I look strong, and ." I walk into the bathroom and Change. Weird, Its a perfect fit. I open the door and Shauna is in a short purple dress with a sweetheart neck line and a flow out into layers around the waist that end mid ankle. It looks really good on her and hugs every curve.

"Well don't you look beautiful" I tell her as she smiles.

"you look pretty horrifying in that get up" I let out a laugh and we head out.
