Ch. 30 Dress Shopping

I ran up MJ when Peter had left and told her everything.

"Should I have my suit , just in case? I have a bad feeling."

"Yeah." MJ pondered, "bring it with you, I also have a bad feeling."

There was a short silence until MJ spoke up, "You know what this means!?"

"What?" I asked slightly confused.

"Dress, shopping!" MJ squealed.

I laughed at her enthusiasm, "Cya soon then?"

"You bet! Be there in ten!" MJ quickly hung up.

I slowly trudged to the bathroom and splashed my face to hide my tear stained cheeks.

Knock, knock!

I quickly grabbed my bag, phone purse and keys before unlocking the door.

MJ stood there grinning," Let's get to work."

We visited store after store to try and get the perfect dress.

I stepped out of the dressing room in a short sleeved f/c dress, which trailed down to my knees, I did a little twirl my hair bouncing up and down.

MJ squealed slightly," It's perfect. "

MJ finally found a dress she wanted and the next stop was the shoe store.

I decided I didn't really want any heels, because they were painful to wear and I didn't have a dste either, also if I were to wear them again, I'm only slightly shorter than Peter so there isn't much height difference.

I ended up just getting some f/c flats and MJ got some black flats to match her dress.

We then headed to get some makeup supplies and extra things, I grabbed all the makeup I need to stock up on, out of the corner of my eye I saw a glimmer.

I turned around to inspect the glimmer and saw a beautiful f/c crystal necklace.

"What do you think?" I asked MJ pointing to it.

MJ sighed contently, "It's... Perfect!"
