James brought Alana to a bar at the outskirts of town, a place he had never patronized before and one which had the bartender, an old man whose eyes were glued to the TV screen. The reason for this secrecy was Rachel. She was back in town, and James was on the alert. He knew now more than ever what she was capable of and was scared of what she would do if she found out about Alana.

He had been with several women in the past and would still be. He was crazy over Rachel no doubt, but he was not a one-woman type of guy.

It didn't help that Rachel was not submissive. She was always in charge and wanted him to follow her lead. He had found it sexy in the beginning of their relationship but not anymore. He needed a woman like Alana, one who would submit to him.

It was a quarter past two, and an old football replay was showing New England Patriots versus the Green Bay Packers. James couldn't stand football. Tom Brady had missed a glorious play to throw a touchdown.

"Okay, James, why are you forcing me to watch such a boring game?" Alana said moving her straw around the glass of drink she had ordered.

James turned his gaze to Alana. She was bright and beautiful. She was wearing a gorgeous pink v- neck dress with black high-heel shoes. Her long brown hair and her green eyes made her look pristine.

"I love football," James lied with a shrug. He had on a dark gray muscle shirt with slim blue jeans and black shoes. His brown hair was short and cropped.

"I want us to go somewhere else," Alana said. "When you told me you were taking me out I was excited. I did not dress up so you can take us to this rundown bar. Maybe we can go to your place?"

James shook his head; there was no way he could take Alana back home. Rachel would rip her apart. He took Alana's hands in his and smiled at her.

"Look, Alana, you're a pretty girl who I had a nice time with. You knew right from the start that I was involved with someone. The last thing I want is a child."

Alana pushed his hand away and glared at him. "What are you saying?"

"That you get rid of the baby. It is a win-win situation. You're too young to be a mom, and I am not ready to be a father. Don't look at me that way; these things happen every day. If it is the cash you need for it, I am willing to give it to you and even more if that's what you want," James said as a matter of fact.

The cold contents of the glass drenched James' face. He was shocked for a moment and blinked his eyes to ward off the liquid.

"You're a freaking asshole! I can't believe you want me to abort our baby," she snapped at him.

James shrugged. "Look, Alana, this is for our good. Get rid of it. You know what you were getting into when you screwed me."

He placed some bills on the table for the drinks and then a bound of cash. "Use that to get rid of it. This is the last time we see babe. Have a nice life."

"You're a bastard James!" she yelled at him.

"Who'd you shacked up with," James murmured with an amused smile.

He stepped out into the cold air and adjusted his jacket. He had done the best he could. It was up to Alana to honor her part.

James didn't care if she kept the baby or used the cash for whatever she wanted. All that mattered was that he had given her a piece of his mind and that she'd be safe from Rachel's wrath.

He smiled, that had been easy for him. He had to be careful with the women he messed around with; there could be no mistake henceforth. Not only would he get on Rachel's wrong side but he had also lost some cash with the amount he had given Alana. But at least it was all behind him.

He got into his car and zoomed off satisfied. He didn't see the other vehicle parked in the corner. Even if he had, he would not have been able to do anything about it.

Rachel waited for a few seconds in the car. She fumed with anger when she saw Alana come out of the bar. She was nothing more than a slut who deserved some lessons.

Rachel smiled. She knew just the perfect way to deal with the girl if shewouldn't keep her end as James said she would. Rachel drove off soon after.
