Rachel Carter drove off from the graveyard and into the darkness. She was the only person standing. She smiled at herself as the van made a quick turn to a narrow street.

The bitch would return to her apartment, pack her bags, take the cash she had stored in a kitchen drawer and run herself out of town. James was gone, but to Rachel, it didn't matter. James was nothing more than just a sucker to be used.

Rachel arrived at the complex.

There were several police cars parked outside the lobby of the building. She decided to drive onward and out of town for good. Rachel still had some cash with her. She was sure she would make more in no time.

Rachel would never look back.
