Leorio:

You and your boyfriend were on your finals now, both being really busy, you literally couldn't see each other for weeks. Finally, you could find some free time to be with Leorio but he responded to your messages shortly and was still so busy, so you tried to just do anything else. Days passed and he never talked to you until you did first, so you decided to go visit him and talk a little.

You knocked on his door and waited for him to open it, when you saw him he looked really exhausted, like he haven't slept in days.

"Y/N? What are you doing here?"

"What do you think? Visiting you, you silly" you said, entering his room with him frowning. The whole room was chaotic, with empty energy drink cans everywhere, half eaten pizza and other delivery food packages there and there. It was a total mess, with his clothes on the floor and tons of books and papers everywhere. He really was too centered on the exams to do anything else, like, for example, doing laundry?

"It's not a good moment right know, I have a very important test tomorrow morning and I need to..."

"Baby, I know but we haven't seen each other for weeks now because of this" you said, pouting.

"I know but now is not the moment" he insisted, you could feel a little bit of toughness in his voice.

"Leorio, listen, I-"

"Y/N now is not the fucking best moment alright?" he raised his voice, surprising you.

"That was mean" you said, frowning "I know studying is really important, for both of us, but we can't just be careless about our relationship like that!"

"You don't understand anything." he was angry now, you could feel it. He started walking around like a trapped animal, grunting. "Was I mean? I'm fucking telling you that this isn't the best moment and you're insisting! What do you expect me to say, huh? What do you want me to do? You think studies are important for you? This is my damn dream, my goal in life and I would do anything to achieve it. ANYTHING, OKAY? IT'S MY FIRST PRIORITY, ITS MORE IMPORTANT THAN ANYTHING ELSE AND IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT THEN-"

"Then what? I can go fuck myself or something?" you chuckled, sad, angry and tired. "I know this means the world to you. I just... I thought I did, too. You've been ignoring me for days, even when I try to find moments for both of us to be together so our relationship didn't cold down or anything, I knew you were busy but I... Never thought you would literally ignore everything else because of this."

"Oh c'mon you're being a fucking child right now, you know that's not true"

'Am I? I see" you walked to the door "the maybe we need to take a break. Or, well, I'm sure you would be happy if we just broke up" you banged the door, going back to your room.

You fell onto the bed, starting to cry as you hugged the big teddy bear he gave you as your first month gift.

Leorio's POV

I didn't even tried to stop her. I was so mad and angry and tired I just wanted her to leave. It wasn't until some time after that I realized what happened. I tried calling, but she didn't respond, and ignored my messages too.

I then read again our last conversations, was I really this cold to her? How did I not notice? I've been treating her like garbage and still she came to be with me, to talk things out...

Oh God, I'm a fucking idiot.

What have I done?

It's true, becoming a doctor is my goal in life and I want it no matter what, I know I will achieve it but... At this cost?
