Everything happened so quickly that it took them both a few seconds to register what just happened. Romano was cradling Desiree on the backseat of the car while Demon was steering the vehicle while breaking all the traffic laws. Ones they reached the hospital Demon took her from Romano and started running towards the emergency room. Romano too on his heals. He sought the receptionist to call the doctor, while the nurse was checking her vitals. When the doctor arrived, he asked them to take to the Emergency room. Both Demon and Romano were entering the room when the ward boy blocked them. Demon started fussing and threatening the nurses to sue them if they didn't allow him to enter the room. It took a while for Romano to calm him down.

Romano was continuously tapping his feet, and Demon was pacing around the corridor when finally the room opened revealing the doctor. The doctor came to a halt in front of Romano when Demon came rushing towards them.

"What happened to her? Why did she faint? "Asked Demon. Romano too was not holding up very well.
"She has got a minor panic attack that had lead to shooting up of her blood pressure level. She might have fainted because of fear.

Many times patients try coping up with panic by shutting down their brains. In her case, that's what happened. WE have sedated her and will keep her under observation for 6 hours. It's not very serious, but make an effort to keep her away from a stressful situation. We don't know how she will handle her stress, but I'll prescribe some stress-relieving and BP medicines." With that the doctor left, leaving the two of them repenting on their misery.

They knew they were the culprit of her condition. She was sleeping on that hospital bed because they were kind enough to trigger her fear. Demon was scolding himself because he was the main culprit here. He should have handled the situation in a very polite way.

He knew that she was fragile, but he behaved like a lunatic and the situation went downfall.

Romano's demeanor was neutral, but he was regretting his decision to allow Demon to go this far with her. He knew how deep was Demon's feeling for her and he also knew that when he admired someone he could serve to any extent for that person. He saw how broken Demon was when his mom died and Mr. Hillingdon forced him to leave that mansion, where he had the memory of his mother. Romano knew how broken and damaged they both were and so was Desiree and if only he could alter everything.
They entered her room. She was sleeping peacefully. IV was connected to her right hand. For hours they sat beside her bed, thinking of how they would deal with her when she woke up.

They were here for only a few hours, but that felt like days. Her closed eyes were constantly reminding them that how bad they were for doing relations, but here they were both weekends to their knees for that girl.

Finally, she opened her eyes and both of them left a sigh of relief which they did'nt know that they were holding.

When she saw Romano's face her eyes became wide open with panic. She knew at that moment that there is no escaping from them. Beside her bed, Demon was sitting. His eyes were red, his face was swollen. He was looking at her with apologetic eyes. It felt like his eyes held his heart. There was sadness, guilt, and regret in them. That was not possible. That's when she noticed the room; she was in the hospital. IV was attached to her. That meant that she still had time to escape them. She frantically started searching for the switch to call for help so that she could get rid of them as soon as possible.

Demon noticed what was going on her head, and he immediately took hold of her hand to stop her from calling the nurse he knew that once the nurse arrived, they won't get the chance to justify their act although he knew that whatever he did was not justifiable but still he wanted to make amendments so they could start afresh.
" Desirée please listen to us. We know that we started on a very wrong foot but please don't ask us to give up on you. I know that I did wrong but please give us a chance. you don't have to panic because of us.
If you want us to wait, we will wait for you to give us your time we are giving you one week and after that, we will return so we can get the answer but please don't give up on us." Demon said with an almost pained voice. He didn't want to leave her, but he knew that if he stayed any longer, he will not give her time to make a choice he will just carry her to their house which she will convert into a home with her love.

That's when she noticed a hand that belonged to Romano. His palm was holding her face. His eyes held lovingness. He rubbed his thumb on her dried lips.

"Princess you don't have to feel fear from us. We know what we did I was wrong but please think about it. I know that you are not in the condition to decipher what we are saying, but please we have finally seen hope in our life because of you and we don't want to lose you we have no one in our life and the moment we saw you something happened to our heart we are going to leave now you don't have to panic we will see you later with that he kissed her forehead and left the room Damon took hold offer and kissed it before leaving the room and with that they gave her the worst nightmare of the lifetime.
