She cooked pasta Alfredo for the first time and I was not there to eat it. I wanted to bang my head on the table, how much I was regretting of coming here. I should have brought Rom with me so that he couldn't mock me right now.
He has a mischievous grin on his face that I wanted to punch right now. He was teasing me and I was browned off.  I should ask Desiree to not cook anything from now on until I returned so that Rom too couldn't get to taste it. 

"Princess, you should not cook from now on. You see I'm not there and Romano is teasing me because he got the pleasure to eat the food made by you.
When I come back, you can start with your class with Martha but for now you can rest, you know. "

She starred at me and then said,
"How about I learn cooking and when you will return I can make something for you. I'm just learning from Martha and I'm far from being an expert.

And I get bored from resting all day, at least I can learn something new from her. So, don't ask me to stop learning how to cook. "

Oh man., she won't listen, I know that. I sighed and gave her a nod and saw Romano smirking behind the camera.  That 🐷.
We said our farewell and I closed my laptop. I have to finish my work here as fast as I can. I too want to taste her food.

Flashback

I went to prison and because of my Jack I was able to dodge all the scrutinizing from the officers, after all the head sheriff was my friend.

As I was told by my friend that I would be given only 10 minutes with the culprit.

I was escorted to a room with glass being the only barrier. After few minutes of waiting I saw a man in his Orange jumpsuit being escorted by a police man inside the room.

He sat in front of the glass opposite of me. We made eye contact and he just relaxed on his chair.

" So, you are the infamous Supervisor. The one who was arrested for the exploitation and smuggling of kids from the orphanage.
Good to finally meet you. I have been waiting to meet you for quite a long time.

So, kindly make my waiting worthy and cooperate with me.

1. I want to know who was the owner of the orphanage and where is he now?

2. What were the orders given by him to you ?

3. When was the last time you saw him?"

I asked all the question looking straight at him.

First he looked shocked and then slowly his expression changed.

"Fuck off man. First of all I don't know you and second thing that I am aware of the person about whom you are talking about.

And why in the world should I answer to I don't think so that you are any police officer neither you are my lawyer.

I don't want to talk to you. So just fuck off. "

Well this was the answer I had expected from him. But I was even better.

" So if you think that you I will leave you this easily then you are very very wrong because I have come a long way to meet you.

I wasn't going to use this on you after all I am a gentleman but sometimes you have to become a bastard to deal with the bastard.

So here is the thing either you tell me the name of the person who was your Boss or else I'm going to go to your family who are staying Italy and have no idea about your whereabouts.

What do you think will happen to your wife, your mum and your daughter, who have no idea how much of a bastard you are.

I will meet you after 2 days.  Think about it. I want a full fledged confession from you. Your one decision can affect your family.

That was enough to get his attention. He looked shocked. Good for him.

He wanted to say something but the time was up. He looked distressed and before leaving he just said one thing.

"You don't know with whom you are messing with. The person behind all this is not a ordinary person.

He will destroy you if he came to know about it. This case has been closed. Don't dig your own grave.
You won't survive. "

I knew what he meant but he didn't know what power I hold.
Let's take the risk and see where it goes and in the meantime, my PI will do the work.

I really don't know what he will do and what I'll do if he didn't cooperated. I really don't want to include his family in all this mess. It's really not my thing, but when it's come to Desiree there is no fair play.

Whatever my PI did he couldn't find the main owner of the orphanage but he was able to track down the previous owner and I was supposed to meet him tomorrow.

There is lot of undiscovered secrets which are yet to be found.
Whoever the person was he has to be found.

Tomorrow needs to come early.
