I walked behind them slowly.
"Keep up." Skywind meowed.
I padded up to stand beside Skywind.
"So why have you come here?" Skywind asked.
"I-I ran away and I did not know where I was going and I ran into you two." I responded.
"We are here," Honeyleaf meowed.
I followed Honeyleaf and Skywind into the camp. There where cats everywhere.
"Whoa! There are so many cats here!" I exclaimed.
Skywind and Honeyleaf led the way to the leaders den. There was a grey tom sitting in a mossy nest
"Stormstar?" Skywind asked.
"Yes? Come in," A large grey tom meowed.
As I stepped inside the den, Stormstar looked at Honeyleaf.
"Who is this?" Stormstar asked.
"This is a loner we caught on the border," Honeyleaf responded.
"What is your name young one?" Stormstar asked.
"My name is Stripe," I responded fearlessly.
Stormstar stepped out of the den and jumped onto a very tall rock.
He called, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey come join beneath Star-rock for a clan meeting!" Stormstar called.
Every cat was gathering beneath high Star-rock.
"We have caught a rogue on the border of our territory," Stormfur announced.
"Stripe will you come up beside me?" Stormstar asked.
I stepped out of the crowd I could hear cats whispering about me. I jumped onto Star-Rock just as Stormstar instructed.
"Stripe would you become an apprentice of Fireclan?" Stormstar asked.
I stepped up and said, "I would love to become a apprentice of Fireclan."
"From this moment on you will be known as Wolfpaw, we all hope you can train hard and serve your clan well." Stormstar said proudly.
"Oneclaw," Stormstar went on," you will be the mentor of Wolfpaw we hope you will pass on your great battle skills to this apprentice!" Stormstar finished.
I jumped down from Star-rock and touched noses with Oneclaw.
The other apprentices were welcoming me to the clan.
"Hey my name is Bluepaw and this is Tigerpaw, Shinepaw, Leafpaw, Goldenpaw, and Kinkpaw!" A blue she-cat introduced herself.
"Hi. I'm Wolfpaw!" I said.
I was thinking of Red, I was wondering where she was and what has happened with Willow and Scratch.
I looked around the camp and saw Skyind feasting on a vole.
I think I have already fallen in love with his creamy white fur and his green eyes and his black with white streaked fur.
"Wolfpaw, come here!" Oneclaw called.
I ran over to him.
"Yes Oneclaw?" I asked.
"Go eat some fresh kill and come to me so we can practice battle moves," Oneclaaw ordered.
"Ok! I cant wait what moves you have to teach me!" I bounced.
I went to the fresh kill pile and I picked a squirrel and started feasting on it.
When I was finished with the squirrel I headed to Oneclaw.
"I'm ready Oneclaw!" I said excitedly.
We headed off to training.
