3'rd Person POV
It was the next day and Fareeda,Jodi and Y/N sat in the cafeteria talking about the new exchange students.Fareeda wasn't particularly involved in the conversation but she was glad that Y/N had gotten over Jack and moved onto someone else.Fareeda had known for years that she liked Jack and it wasn't just the longing stares that gave it it was the fact that everytime they were near each other their faces would light up,she knew that Y/N knew about her feelings but she was never really sure about Jack.Jodi never knew about the crush and it was forbidden to ever tell her as the two of them knew that Jodi and Jack were made for each other.
''Ugh,he's so annoying.''Jack said as he sat down at the table and sighed.
''He can't be that bad.''Y/N assured.
''Try living with him.''Jack complained.
''Ok.''Jodi said which caused Y/N to laugh.
Their conversation was soon interrupted when someone tapped Y/N on the shoulder.
''Yes?''She asked as she turned to face them and found that she was facing none other then Luke.
''Hi,Luke.''She greeted with a huge smile on her face.
Luke then proceeded to sit on the table and carry on his conversation with the love struck girl.
''So,walk with me to French?''He asked her.
She nodded.
''Who are your friends?''He asked her.
''This is Jodi and Fareeda.Their my girl best friends and this is Jack Dunkleman my best-''Y/N started but jack cut her off.
''I'm her boy fr-''Jack stated but before Luke could get the wrong idea Y/N corrected him.
''Boy best friend.''She said emphasising friend which made Jack's heart break a little.Even if Y/N knew that Jack was hurting because of her she would probably be glad because of all of the pain she went through and purposely rubbing it in her every chance he got.Maybe he knew all along and tried to cover it up by saying that he liked Jodi or maybe he was just oblivious.
''Well it's been great in America so far,I've met some pretty great people but I have to say Y/N your my favourite.''Luke said resting his hand on hers.
Fareeda and Jodi gawked at the two of them whilst Jack just stared with anger and jealousy he was flirting with his Y/N.
The bell rang soon after as both Y/N and Luke got up.
''Bye.''She said before walking away,Jack stared as they walked away.
His gaze lingered as they walked further and further away and finally he stopped and got up after he realised she was no longer in sight.
