Stig laid down on his bed he couldn't possibly get any sleep especially since he had kissed Jodi.He didn't want to hurt anyone but he knew he liked Jodi a lot even more then Kimmy.
''Hey, Dunkers. Are you awake?''Stig asked.
''What? Yeah. Yeah, man, what's up?''Jack asked.
''I have to confess something. I cheated on Kimmy tonight. With Jodi, and she kissed me, and I kissed her back, and I... I didn't pull away. Am I a horrible person?''Stig asked
''No, man. No. People... These things happen. People have minor lapses in judgment.How was it?''Jack said slightly happy for his friend and for the first time he wasn't faking.
''It was different than when I kiss Kimmy. It was really good, Dunkers. It was intense and passionate, and I could feel her heart...''Stig said dazed.
''Cool.''Jack said.
''So how was your day?''Jack asked changing the subject.
''It was fine I was with Luke,he was planning to ask Y/N out do you know any ways he can?''Stig asked.
''No.''Jack chocked up as he feeling he expected to feel about Jodi reached him but he knew in that moment he never liked Jodi in that way it was just a way to cover up how he truly felt about Y/N.
''He really likes her,I think they'd make a cute couple.''Stig said as Jack buried his face into his pillow and small sobs escaped his lips as he tried to drown out the calls for her in his sleep.Tears filled his eyes as his once dried pillow turned damp with the salty liquid of heartbreak and broken childhood dreams.
''So what should I do?''Stig asked Jack.
''About what?''Jack asked.
''Jodi.''Stig said.
Jack quickly wiped away his tears and cleared away the lump in his throat as he climbed down from his top bunk and faced Stig.
''Uh... You know, man, look. Well... You're already in a relationship, you know, so... So, um... I think you should probably just focus on, you know, nurturing, caring for and continuing... that relationship.
''Right, but Dunkers, what if I like Jodi more than I like Kimmy?''Stig asked as Jack sniffled slightly ''Are you okay?''
''Yeah. I'm fine. Good. Look, man, Y/N... Jodi's great. Yeah. And, you know, she smells... like a late August midday sun-shower, and she's got skin like sweet, buttery whipped cream, but... You, my friend, are dating the hottest, most popular, most sought-after girl in the whole school, so, you know, if you keep that up, you're in line to be Homecoming King.That's a... You know, we don't take that lightly around here. Right. Soon enough, you'll be back in Sweden and, you know, you'll be living my life again. Ugh! Right? So you should take advantage of the moment, man. This is your chance to be Ingvar Krueger.''Jack said protecting Jodi from Stig who he knew would break her heart.
''Right.''Stig agreed.''Yeah.But here's the thing.''
''Mmhm?''Jack asked.
''I could still be friends with Jodi?''Stig asked.
''Eh... ''Jack said disagreeing with Stig he really didn't his friend to get in this mess.
''Really? No?''Stig asked confused as that wasn't what he wanted to hear.
''I... I just think you might be... That might lead her on, you know, and it's probably best for you to cut things off, just cold turkey. You know, it's the American way. Yes. All right.''Jack said justifying his actions.
''I'm... I'm glad I have you, man.''Stig said gratefully.
