Y/N stood infront of the mirror tears streaming down her face,she heard a knock coming from the door and quickly wiped her tears away.
''Yes?''She called tring to cover up the sadness in her voice.
''Are you ready?''They asked and she now recognised the voice as Luke's.
''No not yet.''She said sniffling slightly.
She pulled out the dress she had gotten and put it on she quickly did her hair and makeup before walking down the stairs.Luke stared at her amazement as she made her way down the staircase,a shy smile crept up on her face as she faced him.
''Hi.''She spoke.
''H-hey,you look...wow.''He said with a loss for words.
She laughed lightly.
''Are you ready?''He asked.
She nodded as she waked down the stair case.

Once they arrived at the school they went to the gym to see various amounts teenagers dancing around the entire room.Y/N was also not surprised to see that her English teacher was checking the punch to make sure it didn't have alcohol in it.Y/N stopped in her tracks as she heard Harper Kreyman speech on stage.
''This years homecoming King and Queen goes to...are you sure?''She asked looking at the principal.
''Kimmy Stitcher and Stig Mohlin.''She said the couple approached the stage and collected their crowns before returning to dance.
''Is this because you like Jodi?''Asked Kimmy Stitcher as her voice was the only sound in the room.
Everyone stared at the arguing couple.
Stig slowly nodded.
''Whatever,I've been cheating on you with Luke anyway.''She said.
Y/N stared at Luke as he looked at her red and embarrassed.She left the room running away from him and out of the exit,he didn't even go after her.He knew she wouldn't take him back and so did she as she was going to find the retrieve love she never had.
