3'rd Person POV
Y/N sat on her bed she felt like crying but no tears came out.Jack had just left,he didn't react to the kiss in a positive manner and just walked away and made up an excuse.Y/N sat on the bed reading her favourite play Romeo and Juliet and she couldn't help but wonder why Romeo couldn't just get over Rosaline but what didn't know was that it wasn't that simple.She reached over to her phone to check the time when a small bell sound came from her phone as she typed in her password to see a message pop up on her screen,it was from Liz she was Kimmy Stitcher's friend.She clicked on the video that Liz sent.
''Hey, Dunkleman, crazy party, huh?Well, I just wanted to document it just as a reminder in case you ever think about throwing a party again.''Liz said speaking to the phone.
''Stig. What were you and Jodi talking about in the kitchen earlier? Seemed kind of important.''Kimmy asked Stig.
''Uh, I... I messed with her. Yeah, Kimmy, I messed with her, and... and she was pissed at me.''He answered.
''What'd you do?''She asked him.
''Uh... Okay, so she came over here the other day, and she was saying that the reason that she left the escape room was because she couldn't stand to see me with, uh, somebody else. So, basically just saying that she's, uh, secretly in love with me.''Stig said laughing.
''What? Confessing love? Dude, that's, like, totally lame. Like, I'm definitely not in love with Jodi.''Schnipper lied.
''Right, so anyways, I couldn't get her to leave, so just to get her off my back, I said, "Yeah, I'll meet up with you tonight. We can talk more about it." But, uh... But I... I totally stood her up.''Stig said.
''Man! My guy! Sauvage, bro.''Schnipper said giving Stig a highfive.
Without warning Jack swooped in about to hit Stig and Schnipper with his milk crate.
''You are, man, you are.When I met you, you were genuinely a super nice guy, man. But you've turned into such a jerk. You're talking trash about Jodi to all these people in public, but when we're in private, man, you're confessing your love for her to me.The crazy thing is you don't even know a thing about her, man. What's her birthday, huh? What's her middle name? What's her favorite color? What color are her eyes, man?''Jack asked.
''Green.''Stig answered.
''No, they're not, they're blue. I mean, Jodi has so much to offer. She's the best person that I know. I bet you didn't even know she's reading the list of 100 best books before she turns 21, did you know that? And that's what's so funny, is you think you're so much cooler than her, but you're not. You guys, none of you guys are. You think... She is so much cooler than all of you guys combined.''Jack said.
''Yeah, well, she's also taller than all of us combined, so...''Schnipper said laughing.
''Yeah.''Jack said laughing sarcastically.
Jack then puched Schnipper and Schnipper punched him back.
''Hey... Dunkers! Oh, my God, Dunkers, you okay! Hey, fellas, come on now, come on! Come on! Take it easy! Guys! Guys, stop!''Stig screamed.
Y/N began to tear up as she threw her phone across the room.
She finally understood why Romeo couldn't get over Rosaline because she felt the same way as Jack but she knew liking him was a lost cause because he would always like her.She grabbed the painting Jack had given her and she wrote the date.The day of the school dance was the day she ruined their friendship she thought as she stared at the painting.
