Jack,Fareeda,Jodi,Y/N and Luke were at the parade,after the fight yesterday Jack wasn't too keen on hanging out with the group instead he was hanging out with Liz who had taken a quick liking much to Y/N's dismay.
''Okay, so then how did this end?''Fareeda asked Jodi said referring to the argument they'd gotten in yesterday.
''Other than a few scratches, he's fine, but we're not on speaking terms at the moment.''Jodi said.
''Is this your first fight ever?''Fareeda asked.
''I think so. He didn't even start the day off with one of his cheesy pickup lines.''Jodi answered.
''So what are you gonna do about Stig?''Fareedaasked changing the topic of conversation.
''Nothing. He made his choice.''Jodi said with a sigh.
''You don't need him. There'll be more.''Fareeda said comfortingly.
''Yeah, well, me not getting the guy was always how this was supposed to end.''Jodi said upset.
''Forget about them. Let's go dance. Jodi. Get in here.''Fareeda said trying to cheer up her best friend.
''Pass.''Jodi said.
''Not dancing to your high school marching band before homecoming is bad juju.''Fareeda said convinsingly.
''I'll risk it.''Jodi said before Fareeda began to dance down the road.
''Hey, Jodi. We need to talk.''Kimmy Stitcher said approaching her.
''About what?''Jodi asked confused.
''About a guy. It's come to my attention, is very into you.''Kimmy said.
''Look, I did not mean for anything...''Jodi started thinking she was talking about Stig.
''Schnipper.''Kimmy said.
''Schnipper?''Jodi asked in disbelief.
''He digs your new look. We're all going to the escape room on Friday, and you should come.''Kimmy said.
''Okay, I'm not falling for another one of your tricks.''Jodi said.
''It's not a trick. He told me to come over and invite you.''Kimmy said confused slightly.
''And why should I believe you?''Jodi asked angrily.
''Cause I know I haven't always been the nicest to you, but consider this my way of making it up to you. Bye.''Kimmy said in a genuine tone before walking away.
''What did that biatch want?''Fareeda asked.
''She just invited me to hang out Friday night.''Jodi said.
''Why?''Fareeda asked.
''Because apparently Schnipper likes me.''Jodi said but it sounded like a question.
''They're messing with you again.''Fareeda
''Yeah. That's what I thought. But she sounded kind of genuine.''Jodi said.
''Oh, you're dreaming.''Fareeda said laughing slightly.
''Is it really that hard to believe that Schnipper would like me?''Jodi asked Fareeda getting angry.
"Yes.All the guy does is make fun of you. And even if it were true, why would you wanna go out with Schnipper?"Fareeda asked.
"Maybe if Stig saw that I moved on, he would realize that he made a mistake."Jodi said with a smile.
"Okay, but we have tickets to Tank and the Bangas on Friday."Fareeda said.
"And I'm sure you can find someone else to go with."Jodi said.
"Wow, so now you're flaking on me?"Fareeda asked getting angry.
"Why are you giving me such a hard time about this?"Jodi asked her.
"Why are you acting so crazy over a guy who, you just admitted two minutes ago, was never going to happen? Do you really need validation that badly?"Fareeda asked.
Jodi's heart dropped down to her stomach as she looked at her 'friend' in disbelief.
"If you're not going to have my back, I would really just prefer you keep your opinions to yourself."Jodi said with venom laced in her tone.
"Don't worry, I will."Fareeda said before walking away from the lovesick girl.
