3'rd Person POV
Y/N didn't know what to do she just ran wherever her body could carry until she realised the root she was taking,it was Jack's house.She walked past his house hoping he wasn't there,she thought she got away with it until her she heard someone call her.Jack.
She walked over to his porch and approached him.
''I wasn't expeting you to be here.''He said.
''Well I got back from the dance and decided to stop by.''She lied.
''Well it's nice to see you.''He said.
''Why did you leave?''She asked him.
''What?''He asked.
''When we kissed,why did you leave?''She asked him hoping that the reason wasn't Jodi.
''Can we go somewhere?''He asked her.
She nodded.
He began to walk as she loosely followed after him leaving the two of them with their thoughts.Well that was until they reached the lake in the park.
''Why are we here?''Y/N asked him.
''Remember when we were nine and it was your birthday and you spilt Orange Juice on me right before the birthday pictures and you promised me that you would let me blow out your candles.''Jack said.
Y/N nodded.
''I kept it.''He said pulling the picture out of the milkcrate Y/N now realised he was holding.
''I'm confused,what did this have to do with you leaving?''She asked.
''I left because I realised that I liked you and didn't want to be like Stig and cheat.I didn't mean o hurt you,I wanted what was best best for you and I didn't want to ruin your happiness by being the orange juice.''He said.
''Well me and Luke and are over.''Y/N said reassuring him.
''What,why?''Jack asked.
''Lets just say he wasn't the person I thought he was.''Y/N said.
Jack nodded.
''You know in all of the years I've known you,I've never known what that milkcrate was for.''Y/N said.
''So I'd be ready for this moment.''Jack said turning the milkcrate around so he could stand on it.
''Ready for what?''Y/N asked confused as he grabbed her hand and pulled her onto the milkcrate aswell.
''When we were ten you told me that you always wanted to be tall enough dance under the stars and touch them.This was the best I could do.''Jack said before wrapping his arms around her waist as she wrapped hers around his neck.
Y/N's heals got trapped in one of the gaps in the milkcrate which almost sent her tumbling but Jack managed to keep his balance and hold onto her.
''I've got you.''He whispered in her ear and for a moment their eyes met and a few seconds later so did their lips.
