A/N: Sorry that it's taken me so long to update but I really struggled with this scene - I couldn't get it right. I'm still not sure about it, but I decided to just leave it as is and move on. *****
Chris could tell when she went to sleep - her breathing slowed and the little bit of tension that she'd been holding left her body and she completely relaxed against him. He watched her, thinking how good this felt. He was surprised that she'd allowed it - allowed her guard down enough to snuggle up to him. Maybe it was because she was sick. Those barriers would probably go straight back up when she felt better, but he didn't care - he would just enjoy the moment. Only trouble was, he hadn't grabbed the remote before she went to sleep - he could see it on the other side of the room, and he didn't want to move and wake her. So he was stuck watching 'Bones'. Could be worse, I suppose. After about an hour, his phone binged loudly in his pocket. He quickly fished it out and put it onto silent. It was a message from Rob on the WhatsApp group.
