Becca plugged her phone into the computer, feeling slightly uneasy. Is that what it's like to be Chris? To have people think of you as public property, and that it's okay to make comments like that about you? She hadn't liked it - she'd wanted to tell Vanessa to stop talking about him. Not that she had the right - it's not like they were dating, even if she wished that was the case. But how much worse would this feel if we were? Would people still make those sorts of comments about him? A quick Google search brought up a scary number of hits - all gossip sites with headlines like 'Chris Evans pictured with mystery woman!' and 'New love for Marvel star Chris Evans?' Whoa - jumping the gun much? The first time we've ever been pictured together and they go with 'new love'? How did celebrities cope with that kind of speculation and pressure on their relationships? She clicked on article after article, scanning for pictures and trying to ignore the words. She sighed in relief, seeing that they were all using the same two pictures. Thank God! And they weren't just American websites - it seemed like the whole world was obsessed. God, it's even made it onto The Daily Mail!

Is Chris Evans about to be off the market?
A million hearts around the world have broken as Marvel and Captain America star Chris Evans was spotted introducing a mystery brunette to family members in his home town of Boston, Massachusetts.
The hunky star and his date were dining at Italian restaurant Carluccio's last night, where they were joined by his sister Carly and soap star brother Scott.
The duo, who were both dressed casually in jeans, were clearly enjoying each other's company. An eyewitness told Mail Online that despite being in a group, the loved-up pair couldn't take their eyes off each other and that Chris looked 'totally smitten'.
The handsome star has been linked to a bevy of beauties over the years, previously dating Jessica Biel for five years, before ending things in 2003.
He was also linked to Minka Kelly in what sources say was a 'turbulent' on-off relationship that began in 2005 and was rumoured to have lasted until 2012.
However, none of these relationships worked out and fans were left to wonder if Chris was fated to remain eternally 'unlucky in love'. The star himself has made no secret of the fact that he would like to settle down and have a family one day - so we'll all be watching to see if this girl is going to be 'the one'.
