Riley's POV
I was sitting in the airport waiting for my new family to pick me up. I was looking around and I felt someone tap on my shoulder.I saw a a guy with cotton candy blue hair pail skin and glasses. I looked at him and he looked at me "You must be Riley more tomboyish that Imaged." I glared up at him "Who in the hell are you?" He smiled "Well I'm tyler and I'm going to be your mentor and care taker until your eighteen." I groaned and picked up my bags. "Well Tyler it's nice to meet you even though you are like two hours late." I say while shaking his hand "I'm so sorry about that I had a business meeting." He said while taking my bags from me and walking to his car.
He was too happy for my taste but you know it is what it is. I looked around and pulled a box of cigarettes out of my pocket and I lit one. Before I got to inhale tyler slapped the cigarette out of my hand and might have burned his hand in that process. I looked at him "No sweet child of mine will take up that nasty habit." he said in a hurt time which was quite annoying.
"Well you better get use to it daddy dearest because I don't give two shits. I just got ripped away from people I love and miss a lot." I say trying to hold back my tears. All I thought was Brayden he was just running through my mind ever since I left. Tyler was looking at me "I can tell you had a boyfriend or someone you cared about by the way your body language." he said while closing the trunk "Well I did care about this one guy and I mean we went out but then he had his best friend come and break up with me for him." I said while getting in the car.
As we were driving down an L.A. highway I looked at my old 2009 cell phone and It was still on airplane mode and I went and turned that off "What the hell is that?" Tyler said rude i looked at him "Ehat this. Well tyler this is called a cell phone." I say sarcastically he looked at me and rolled his eyes "Um honey this is the 21st century you need to get up to date with fashion and electronics." he said taking my phone and throwing it in the backseat "Hey! What the Hell?!" I screamed "We are going to the Hearst AT&T and getting an iPhone. Geez I have so much work to do to you." he sighed getting into the next lane "Tyler I don't need a make over by anyone I like the way I look now there nothing wrong with me or the way I am." I said while looking out the window. "Riley it looks like you just rolled out of bed and just left the house in your pajamas." he said frustrated. I didn't want to say anything else to him.

After we got my new phone we went to his place. Why did he care so much I mean he didn't have to I mean my mom and dad didn't. I was just the adopted child nothing special. Tyler didn't have to get me a new phone or even care about the way I look. Was I supposed to? I mean no one complained about it before. "I'm sorry if I snapped earlier just I heard what your last family did and I just want you to have your best chance in life and have you experience things too ya know?" He said parking the car in an apartment complex. when we were in front of the door and when he opened it my eyes just widen "Well my home is your home so make yourself comfortable." I shook my head "I need to get the rest of my bags from the car."i said leaving to go get my things.
I grabbed everything and I was going back to the apartment. When I was walking I ran into someone that caused me to fall backwards along with all my stuff. "Oh my gosh I am so sorry I didn't even see you here let me help you up." A guy said helping me up. When I looked him and he was pretty cute I mean not my kind of guy but I mean he had brown hair (which had a Justin Bieber going on), brown eyes , and pail skin. "Um thanks." he said while picking up my stuff "you don't have to do that I got it." I said with no emotion "No I insist." He said handing me my bag. "Thank you so much..." I say awkwardly because I didn't even know his name "Jordan Thats my name." He said while helping me get my bags in order. "Well thank you Jordan." I say before walking away "Oh and I'm Riley." I say while going back to the apartment. "Do you live here now?" He yelled I smiled and nodded "Yes I do I live right here." I yell back. "Well that's cool we'll see you around!!" He went into his apartment.
When I went inside and I saw tyler standing there "I see you've met Jordan." I smile and nodded "Well you stay away from him I mean no little sister of mine is going on I have boy cooties." He said grabbing my bags and showing me to my room."This is where you will be sleeping." he opened the door and i looked at the room. The walls were all a real pretty teal color and the bed spread was black with white polka dots on it. I love it I could feel a smile grow on my face. I looked at Tyler "You did all of this for me?" I say trying not to cry "Well Yeah I've been dying to have a little sister because I mean thats the only reason why I was looking for a Girl to adopt and I get lonely in this place alone soooo Why not." He said hugging me. For some odd reason I felt complete like I have a real family member and I could trust him. "Thank you Tyler." I say while hugging him "No problem Kiddo." he said "Now lets get you unpacked and settled in mkay." HE said while opening my suitcases.

Hey Guys Im so so so so sorry I haven't been writing I've been in the hospital in and out for the past month and I've been trying to write I really have but I can't. I am going to start writing now and try to push myself Just for you guys. I love you all and I hope this chapter was up to your expectation... Probably not and I'm sorry...
