Another day of college passed by and pretty much nothing happened. Castiel and Amy talked even more, gave everyone in the cafeteria a name and drank a lot of coffee. They became quite good friends. Sherlock and Sam did the same, without the coffee, perhaps with something else. And Gabriel and Dean seemed to get along fine as well.

Class seemed to be fine to all of them. Life seemed to be fine to all of them.

As the week went by Castiel got to meet some of Amy's friends. They were in college as well, but took different classes so he only ever saw them in some of their breaks.

Dean and Gabriel didn't really talk to anyone, except each other and sometimes their teachers, when they had to apologize for interrupting class, with their snarky remarks or every now and then, perhaps, a prank going too far.

Sam learned a lot that week, but not just from class. Being friends with Sherlock Holmes was really educational. He taught him a lot on how to read people. He wasn't as good as Sherlock, far from that, but he was getting quite good. It impressed Sherlock to say the least.

And that was how they all spend their week, until friday. That was when a lot was about to change. That night there was a part. It was like a sort of welcoming party for all the freshmen, but the party wasn't just for freshmen, everyone was allowed to come. Many always came and didn't even doubt coming. Except for one specific sophomore, who wasn't loving the idea yet.

"Can't believe you're just going to leave me alone like this. All alone, at home. What if a burglar rings the door? What if he kills me? What if he steals all my candy?!" Gabriel shouted worried at Castiel while he choosing what outfit to wear for the party.

"Then don't open the door for strangers. Besides, it's not like you have to stay at home alone. You are welcome to join me."

"Nah, I'ma pass on that offer."

"Why not? It could be fun. I thought you'd like it. There's free booze, maybe even candy," Castiel said with a convincing tone.

Gabriel jumped up from Castiel's bed, where he was laying on. "Oh, I do like candy."

"I know you do," Castiel chuckled. "Come on dude, just come with me, I don't know anyone there, only Amy, and her friends but it's not like I'm really close to any of them anyway. So it could be nice having someone there I know. And like, aren't your friends coming?"

"No, they have to study for this thing," Gabriel lied.

"Study? The first week of the year already?"

"Yeah, I don't know either. I just know they won't come."

"Aren't they in the same class as you though-"

"Don't worry about me though, me and my Netflix account will get trough the night."

"Dude, just come to the damn party, what's the worst that could happen?"

"We could all die."

"Oh come on dude," Castiel whined, "I'm serious, just come. It might be fun. And if not, you can always leave."

Gabriel sighed, "I guess."

"Yeah, exactly, you're coming, but now, get out of my room, I need to change," Castiel said as he held his clothes high and pointed at the door.

"Okay, okay," Gabriel said as he held his hands above his head and walked out the door, "I know when I'm not wanted."

The door closed behind him. "Like probably tonight," Gabriel whispered to himself. "Oh well, whatever."
