"How am I on the twelfth place again?", Gabriel groaned. He threw the Wii controller next to him and crossed his arms. "That's an easy one," Dean giggled. "You suck." Gabriel gave him a disgusted and yet sarcastic look. Everything around him was quite blurry, so he had to move closer to Dean, to see him clearly. "How can you say something like that, bitch." He toppled a bit, even though he was sitting.
Dean got hold of him by putting one hand on his shoulder. "It's a fact, Novak. Those two girls will tell you." Dean pointed at the girls behind them, they were playing against at. To their surprise they were already watching them, not to mention giggling like crazy. Both of them pointed at the guys on a rotating basis. "You ask hi–", the ginger one whispered. "No way, you're older than me, you do that!" The short haired one gave her a look.
Gabriel and Dean exchanged a look. Dean now turned his whole body to the girls. "So ..it's Charlie, right? You want to share something? Like how bad he is at Mario Kart?" Gabriel punched his elbow into Dean's side, "Or maybe something else?"
Charlie, the ginger one, who apparently was also older smiled shyly. Before she could say something, her friend giggled loudly again. "Come on, Charlie. You wanted to ask since the first cup we played." Charlie gasped, "Don't say that like I came up with this. You were getting the vibes first."
Gabriel sighed annoyed. Those girls talking even made the happiness from the alcohol fade. "Can we help you? Or not?" He was now lying straight over Dean, because he wanted to be closer to the girls, to show them how annoyed he was.
Charlie put on a brave face, "Since when have you guys been dating? We have both seen you around the last year, not really together. So when did that happe–" She stopped as Gabriel turned red as a lobster. He didn't dare to move or even turn his head to look at Dean. Yes, they had been close this evening. But he had never expected, that someone believe they were in a relationship. That was ridiculous. It's not like there was anything between them. Anything. The alcohol intoxication was like blown away from Gabriel. He started sweating. Every second felt like ten minutes.
At least that is how Gabriel felt. In reality three seconds had passed, before Dean grabbed Gabriel's shoulder again to pull him closer. "It's not like there is anything official, you know. But we got real close the past few weeks. Didn't we, Novak?" He gave Gabriel a kiss on the cheek.
Time stood still. The girls exchanged a look, like their OTP had just been confirmed. Gabriel froze. He couldn't move or breath or think. Dean on the other hand, was highly amused by the whole situation. There was obviously enough alcohol in his system. Or was there?
