Do you know that kind of hangover headache, where every sound just hurts and turns into this high pitched buzzing noise of pure pain? Me neither. But Castiel does. He knows that pain too well. And how his head hurted, especially when that sound is your brother, who for some reason was already awake at seven.
"Castiel, would you finally get up?" The younger brother aggressively pressed his eyelids together. "Come on. I know you are not asleep. Castiel, please." After another twenty seconds of nothing, Gabriel left the room.
'Good lord, he is finally gone.' He tried to sleep again and he was close. He was really close to sleeping again, but then it knocked at his door. Castiel grunted. "Asstiel. Get up. He opened the curtains in your living room. I want to use your bed and you not part of that fantasy." Amy stood in the middle of Castiel's room.
He couldn't believes his ears, so he opened his eyes. There she stood. Huge rings under her eyes. Messy hair. A thin blanket and a pillow in her hands. And just wearing a huge hoodie. "How did yo–", the black haired boy started to get up. "Your brother told me where the next bed was. Now move." As soon as he didn't touch the bed anymore, she let herself drop on it. "What a dick."
Since Amy didn't say a word, he actually left his room. He had to close his eyes as he entered the living room, since Gabriel had actually opened every curtain. "Oh, I see you found your way out of bed."
Castiel grunted once more, "Why? We got home like four hours ago. Why isn't sleep an option." He lied down on the sofa facing the ground. "Oh, I don't know, Castiel. Why did I find a girl on our sofa?" The younger brother turned around, "That's just Amy, man. She drove us home. What's the problem?" Gabriel, who was making coffee for his brother, paused. "I thought, you drove us home."
Castiel now faced his brother. "No, man. Don't you remember, Amy and I found you and Dean playing Mario Kart. We left you, because you seemed fine. When we entered the kitchen, Amy got me taking part in that drinking game. I told her, I had to drive. But she said, she wanted to see me drunk so badly, she would take it upon herself and drive us home. I told you all of that. Although, if I remember correctly, you didn't really seem in the state of mind, where you could process that kind of information." Gabriel still didn't continue with the coffee. It seemed like he was trying to recall everything that happened.
The whole evening was kind of blurry and then there was that one thing, he could remember pretty well.
"I mean, you seemed drunk and you were drunk, yes. But after we came back from the kitchen, you seemed different. You weren't even playing Mario Kart anymore. And you love Mario Kar– You alright man?", Castiel watched his brother pouring the coffee into three cups. He failed. The coffee was all over the kitchen table.
"That is not why you hunted me out of my bed, right? Even if you cannot remember her driving us home, what does it matter. It's Amy, you know her. There is something else making your brain work. What is actually going on?"
Finally Gabriel turned his head to face his brother. "I think, I have feelings for Dean."
