I froze. Shidhgshaw, how am I supposed to respond?! She seems like a nice person, but what if she's like the others?! Ehhhhhh.
"C̸͟͞a̸͟͞l̸͟͞m̸͟͞ d̸͟͞o̸͟͞w̸͟͞n̸͟͞ M̸͟͞e̸͟͞l̸͟͞, I̸͟͞ r̸͟͞e̸͟͞c̸͟͞o̸͟͞m̸͟͞m̸͟͞e̸͟͞n̸͟͞d̸͟͞ t̸͟͞r̸͟͞y̸͟͞i̸͟͞n̸͟͞g̸͟͞ t̸͟͞o̸͟͞ b̸͟͞e̸͟͞ h̸͟͞e̸͟͞r̸͟͞ f̸͟͞r̸͟͞i̸͟͞e̸͟͞n̸͟͞d̸͟͞. "Hey you listening? So wanna be friends Melody? I mean you don't have to be, but you seem a lot more decent than the other kids here." Emilia asked, looking slightly sad.
"Sure I'll be your friend!" I exclaimed without thinking. Well shit. Curse my kindness!
"Really?! Yay! My first friend in this school!" She pulled me into a hug. I awkwardly accepted it and hugged back. My first friend too... I guess today won't be that bad. I smiled slightly to myself.
"Hey let's exchange phone numbers? Mine is xxx-xxx-xxxx!" She said excitedly.
"Sorry, I don't really have a phone," I mumbled. No thanks to John.
"Oh... that's okay! I'll give you my email instead! You do have a computer at home, right?" Emilia asked.
I couldn't help but smile as I nodded. "Neat! Well here's my email! Email me when you get home." She grabbed a piece of paper out of her bag and quickly scribbled her email on before handing it to me.
She sat next to me. Grinning she said,"What's your favorite color? Mine's yellow."
"Blue, I guess. What's your favorite animal?"
"Dogs! I mean they are just so adorable, who wouldn't love them?"
"They are adorable, but I prefer wolves. Wolves are pretty much bigger, fluffier, and fatter dogs."
"What's your favorite food? I'd say mine is sushi."
"Ehh, sushi is okaaay, but cooked fish is way better."
She let out an offended gasp, "Take that back! Sushi is obviously superior!" We exploded in laughter.
"Oh yeah, forgot to ask, where are you from?"
"Oh, I'm from Alaska. I know pretty far from good 'ol Texas. It's also a lot warmer here."
"Neat. What's yer schedule? I wanna know how many classes I have with 'ya." I asked, imitating a stereotypical Texas accent. We both busted out laughing.
"I'll show you my schedule if you show me yours."
"'Kay then." We whipped out our schedule from our binders. We put them next to each other to compare. Surprisingly they were exactly the same.
"Looks like you're trying to stalk me." I joked, before realizing something.
"I guess we were just destined to be friends! Now there's now way for you to escape me!" Emilia joked back.
The bell rang just as we threw our thrash away. We grabbed our stuff and started walking to our next class. Just three more periods left.
Shadow! What did you do?! I know full well that this isn't a coincidence! I questioned, glaring at Shadow with the corners of my eyes.
"A̸͟͞w̸͟͞e̸͟͞, h̸͟͞o̸͟͞w̸͟͞ r̸͟͞u̸͟͞d̸͟͞e̸͟͞. H̸͟͞o̸͟͞w̸͟͞ d̸͟͞a̸͟͞r̸͟͞e̸͟͞ y̸͟͞o̸͟͞u̸͟͞ a̸͟͞c̸͟͞c̸͟͞u̸͟͞s̸͟͞e̸͟͞ m̸͟͞e̸͟͞ o̸͟͞f̸͟͞ d̸͟͞o̸͟͞i̸͟͞n̸͟͞g̸͟͞ s̸͟͞u̸͟͞c̸͟͞h̸͟͞ a̸͟͞ t̸͟͞h̸͟͞i̸͟͞n̸͟͞g̸͟͞!? Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know you did something Sha, don't try denying it.

As I walked out of Hell number two, I started walking back to Hell number one. Emilia spotted me and waved. I waved back and smiled.
I stopped taking the bus home so that I arrived home latter. I walked to the back of the school, where the woods are. I hummed as I walked through the woods, on a dirt path made by students from the previous years.
That's when my vision went black.
