Okay same video as Little Dib, but different scenario!!!
As a child, Dib was very curious. He always went outside to watch insects and 'study' them. One day, he went outside to observe some birds, and he found a small grey purple spotted egg. He thought it was a bird's egg that had fallen from it's nest, and brought it inside hoping to hatch it. Merely days later, it hatches, but it's.. a small alien, with bright ruby red eyes.
(They're only a few years apart, because as I said, Dib was a child when he found the egg.)
