Author's Note- Considering what Adara was threatening to do last time...let's see if Sans and Grillbz are still breathing shall we? XD

Trigger warning(s): Uncensored language, implied child endangerment, and implied off-screen violence against another character.

"Aaaand...there ya have it." Sans finished; his voice weary after repeating the story again.

Adara, Kacee, and Fiyoku stared back blankly as they began to process what they just heard. Grillbz took that as an opportunity to release the breath he had been holding for a short while; awaiting the response he knew was coming.

Kacee was the first to break the silence.

"So...let me get this straight." She started, catching Grillbz and Sans' attention.

"After several years of living Underground, the human child of Toriel and Asgore went berserk, killed one of our closest friends, and tried to pass the barrier using the Prince. You tried to carve a window to the void and wound up exposing yourself to magic you have no control over. You've been killed by this child hundreds of times in many different resets of the same situation when they possessed Frisk. And now they're back...has been tormenting you...possessed your brother...has made him hurt many people...put you in a position where you're fixing an impossible machine for an impossible solution...."

"..."

"And you neglected to tell us about ANY OF IT?!"

Sans winced slightly at her finishing tone, rubbing over the now-bandaged part of his shoulder.

"Of all the things I just told you I figured THAT would be the least of your worries..." he mumbled.

"Like HELL it is! What were you THINKING?! You knew from the START this would be too much for you, didn't you? What would've happened if Grillbz hadn't stepped in when he did huh? You would've probably let your work swallow you whole and THEN where would you be?! Jesus CHRIST Sans! You're so much like your mother it's SICKENING sometimes." Kacee lectured, rubbing the bridge of her nose as Sans glanced down in shame.

"Gran, I'm just as upset as you are, but isn't that a little harsh?" Fiyoku retorted.

"I mean...we know NOW, don't we? It's not like we can go back and change anything."

Kacee sighed deeply at that remark.

"That doesn't change the fact that this ALL could've been avoided if he had just reached out to us instead of being stubborn like he always is! For a brain so big you would think he'd have some common sense somewhere. Sometimes I wonder if my son somehow got all of it during their youth...but even THEN that's hard to say..."

Grillbz and Sans glanced at each other awkwardly.

"Uh...stepmom? We're still here..." Grillbz voiced up.

"SOMEHOW!" Kacee breathed sharply before Adara placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Kacee enough...your temper."

Kacee glanced at her wife a moment before sighing gruffly and turning away. Adara took that as a sign to keep going before turning to her sons.

"As needlessly aggressive as Kacee was...she DOES have a point. You boys dug yourself into a VERY deep grave by keeping this all to yourselves. No doubt this could've been brought to a better conclusion sooner if you had just trusted us rather than giving us a warning so last minute. You acted recklessly and it nearly cost your daughter her life. As well as the lives of those buying you time right now."
