Author's Note: AWWWWWWW SNAP! IT'S FINALLY TIME! The ultimate confrontation is at hand! Papy vs Sansy! WHO WILL WIN?!

Trigger warning(s)- Uncensored language, a hell of a lot of shouting, misunderstanding, possession, example of suppressed memory due to PTSD, implied past substance abuse, recounting of past trauma, guilt, insults, implied mental health issues, and violence against another character (though really, it wasn't completely on purpose). Please tread lightly

"I'm home!" Papyrus called out as he opened the door, his keys making a slight jangling sound as he did.

Silence was all that greeted him as he closed the door, putting a confused look on his face.

"Um...hello?" he tried.

"Anyone?"

He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow as he hung up his coat.

"That's weird...usually Flowey is here at least...where is everyone?" he questioned out loud.

"They're out."

Papyrus couldn't help but jump slightly as a lamp suddenly turned on, revealing Sans to be sitting on the couch with a serious look on his face.

"Hey bro...how was work?" he greeted, his voice neutral.

Papyrus' eyes widened a moment before he gave a bewildered stare.

"Fine..." he replied.

"That's good."

Papyrus cast a suspicious look his way as he walked further into the room.

"You're home early...that's new."

Sans' eyes narrowed.

"Yeah. I am. Because I think you and I need to have a little chat..." he replied as he pointed to the seat in front of him.

Papyrus felt a wave of confusion wash over him.

"Really? What about? Is something wrong?" he asked, sitting himself down as he spoke.

Sans couldn't help but give a slight chuckle at that statement.

"Funnily enough...that's what I want to know." he replied, a sarcastically amused smile seen.

Papyrus tilted his head slightly.

"O...kay?"

Sans took a moment to collect his thoughts before speaking.

"Papy...why didn't you tell me you were feeling depressed again?" he asked, putting a shocked look on Papyrus' face.

"Wh-Whatever do you mean brother? I feel perfectly fine!" Papyrus tried, putting a fake smile on his face.

Sans for one, was not convinced in the slightest.

"You and I both know that's a lot of bullshit bro. I may have been out of it recently but that DOESN'T make me blind. Ever since you began your job, the happy and optimistic skeleton I know and love has been getting sadder and sadder every time he walks through the door. You're tired, you're upset, and it's only getting worse."

"Is this about what happened with Undyne? Because if it is then I already have every intention to apologi-" Papyrus started.

"This isn't just about Undyne Papy. It's about everything." Sans interrupted.

"...I talked to your boss last night bro."

Papyrus' eyes widened in shock.

"You did WHAT?!"
