"Hit me with a double Grillbz..."
Grillbz's eyes widened slightly when he turned to see Sans at his usual stool; looking more tired than he usually did.
"Sans? Well color me surprised! You haven't come around in awhile." he commented, handing Sans a bottle of ketchup with two shot glasses of hot sauce as he did.
Sans shrugged as he took a swig of ketchup.
"Yeah, sorry about that G...been busy." he replied casually.
Grillbz raised an eyebrow.
"You? Busy? Last time I checked the convenience store only had you working a few times a-"
"I took on some more jobs...helps pay the bills..." Sans interrupted.
Grillbz looked over with suspicion.
"How many more?" he asked.
Sans sighed as he drained one of the hot sauce glasses.
"About two more part times since the last time we talked..."
Grillbz dropped a napkin dispenser in surprise.
"Sans...with the kind of time that would require you'll drop dead from exhaustion! What are you thinking?!"
Sans groaned.
"Grillbz c'mon! I didn't come here for a lecture!" he whined slightly as he sipped some more ketchup.
Grillbz glared as both hands went to his hips.
"Well MAYBE you NEED one! Sans...come on! You're smarter than this! You're working yourself to the bone!"
Sans chuckled slightly at the accidental pun.
"Good one..."
Grillbz leveled him with an unamused look.
"Sans, I'm SERIOUS!" he growled.
Sans rolled his eyes.
"I know I know, but seriously Grillbz...I can handle it. Remember who you're talking to. I used to take on overtime all the time at the lab when we were teenagers and let's not forget the late nights I spent training when I became a Royal Judge."
Grillbz sighed.
"Yes...I know...but Sans...I'm...I'm worried about you. This is the longest you've been away from the restaurant in awhile. And Fiyoku...she's told me Frisk has been concerned for you as well."
Sans' eyes shot to him.
"What do you mean?"
Grillbz shrugged slightly as he continued; polishing a glass as he spoke.
"According to her, Frisk has been coming up to the 11th grade floor of the school every lunch period just to check with her to see if you've come here at all in the past few days. And with how often you've apparently been disappearing...everytime she says she hasn't seen you, Frisk grows more and more distressed...I can only imagine why..."
