It was quite empty inside the classroom. Only a few classmates had already arrived.

Sung was one of them.

A smile and a peace sign was all you did as your greeting for him. Sung nodded when he saw you, also smiling a bit.

The classroom began to get full and so you looked at your phone.

Lesson was about to begin, so you panicked a little and wrote Vinny, 'Where're ya?'

'In school' was his answer.

A few minutes later, Vinny entered the classroom and sat down.

But you didn't look at him even once.
You just couldn't look him in the face.

So when it was lunch break, you immediately stood up and went to Seon-Hua.

"Follow me!" you wispered and pulled her with you to the rooftop.

"Now tell me everything."

And so you did.

From the beginning, how you became friends till how you developed feelings for Vinny.

"What?! You confessed to him?!"

"That wasn't really a confession though..."

"And? What did he say?"

"Well... I ran away before he could say anything."

"Are you stupid?!"

Seon-Hua sighed and said, "Let's see what'll happen now."

"But I can't face him anymore. What should I do now?!" you asked desperately.

"I don't know girl! I can't do anything for you, sorry. But I think that you have to face him. Running away is not a solution."

"I know, but it's too difficult..."

Two hands were grabbing your shoulders and Seon-Hua said, while raising her voice, "(Y/N)! Be determined and don't run away. If he's rejecting you, I'll give him a good beating, because he didn't even deserve your love."

You laughed at the statement and thanked her.

The rest of the recess, you just sat there and enjoyed the soft wind breezes.

Back to class, you casually sat down on your seat and when the teacher came in, you took out the things you needed for this subject.

You sat there, listening to the teacher, as he wrote something on the board.

School finally finished, and so you quickly went outside the school.

"I'm sorry Seon-Hua. I just can't do this..."

Without talking to any of your friends, let alone Vinny, you were soon outside the school campus and ran to the street.

The moment your house ward in sight, you suddenly got grabbed on your wrist and abruptly came to a halt.

You breathed heavily and your eyes widened, when you saw the person who stopped you.

Vinny was next to you on his bike, still holding your wrist.

"Hey! Why are you running away from me? I couldn't even say anything!" His tone sounded like he was scolding you.

"I-" you got interrupted by him as he said after a short sigh, "I really hate you, you know?"

When you heard that, you felt as if your heart stopped.

Tears began to fill your eyes and you wanted to shake his hand off to run away.

But that wasn't necessary, because his next sentences stopped you from doing so.

"I don't know when exactly it happened, but you suddenly made me think of you a lot. That's why I really hate you! You've got me going crazy."

Your eyes widened once again and you slowly turned your head to look at Vinny.

"What... do you mean?" Your brain couldn't really process what he had just said, as he pulled you to a hug.

"I love you, goddammit!" he raised his voice a little when he said that.

The moment you finally realized the meaning behind his words, tears of joy began to roll down from your eyes and you buried your face in his chest.

The feeling that bursted and spread inside you, were pure feelings of joy and happiness.

You two remained like this for a while, but then you suddenly remembered that you had to go to work.

"Sorry Vinny... I have to go to work. Let's go home so I can change my clothes. My shift starts in an hour."

"Then come" he said, while extending his hand to you.

Taking his hand, you both went to your house.

On your way, Vinny suddenly said, "Oh, I almost forgot."

He turned to you and said, "You wanna be my girlfriend?"

You chuckled, because he sounded too serious, what you didn't expect him to be.

"Of course!"

In your house, you both cooked something and when it was finished, Vinny sat down on the dining table and began to eat.

But since you didn't have the time to eat, you went upstairs to change your clothes to casual ones and rushed downstairs again.

"I'll leave now!" you said and before you went outside, you gave Vinny a light tap on his shoulders.
