I hold onto Oam tighter, quickly search the room for my sword. Seeing it on the dresser
next to me, I quickly stand the both of us up and point my sword at the… person.
“Who are you? Are you another shapeshifter?” Oam tightens his grip on. Hopefully he
knows I didn’t mean to be rude to him. I pull him in closer, hoping it gets the message across.
“Wait, what do you mean ‘another shapeshifter’?” I lower my sword a bit. He can’t be a
shapeshifter. He wouldn’t have said that if he was.
“... Why are we here?”
“Okay, this may sound weird, but you fell out my mirror.” Wait. If Oam’s still here..
“Oam, the mirror didn’t hurt you!” I grin at Oam.
“I… you’re right. But how?”
“Don’t question it!” Oam laughs at my comment, smiling brightly. I sigh, placing my sword
down. “Well, since we don't know where we are, do you know where we can stay?”
“Oh! You can stay here. You guys will have to sleep on the couch since we only have
three beds.” He nervously chuckles.
“That’s okay. Though, what’s your name?”
“Mao Mao!” ... Oh god.
“That’s my name.”
