Mao Mao’s POV:
Oh god, Oam’s missing. Why didn’t I try to stop him? Now he’s missing and I can’t look
for him because of the fact that I look like this world’s Mao Mao. The alternate version of
Badgerclops was comforting me, worry filling him.
“Hey, is everything okay here?” The alternate me walked over to the two of us.
“Oam’s gone and I can’t go find him cause I look like you and I-”
“Woah woah woah, slow down. Your friend is missing?” I nod, tears filling my eyes.
“Okay, I’ll look for him.”
“Wait! I want to say sorry.”
“For what? All you did was flinch.” Badgerclops piped in.
“That’s… not what I want to say sorry for.” I look down at my feet… he deserves so
much more.
“... Okay, but put your hood up. We don’t want anyone seeing you.” I quickly pulled my
hood up, hiding in it. Me and demon me left the house, looking around for Oam.
“Oam?” I look down some alleyways. ‘Oh god, this is my fault.’
“No it’s not.”
“... Did I say that out l-loud? Sorry I-” Demon me placed a hand on my shoulder.
“Stop. This isn’t your fault. There’s nothing to say sorry about. To me or to him.”
“Yes there is.”
“What could you have to say sorry about?” I fall silent.
“Him and I are connected by the mind… I just want to say sorry that he has to go through all this. He has to go through so much pain and I-” Demon me pulls me into a hug… he doesn’t
care.
“I’m so sorry.” No he’s not. “If I can do anything to help,” He doesn’t want to. “Please tell me.” …
“Hehe… you and Wind aren’t that different.” I chuckle. Maybe, just maybe… he means it.
“Well, you can call me MD.”
“Okay, now let’s go find Oam.”
