A good cry always helps, even if I hide it. After that, me and winged me talked about
plans for how to get Oam and I home. Oam went upstairs to do something though.
“Hey Mao Mao, two things.” I look up the stairs to Oam with a new look. “One, you like
my new look?” I snicker. His new cyan jacket went well with his teal gloves and pants.
“Yeah. If you don't mind me asking, why the sudden change?”
“Mao Mao, we look identical. I don’t want to be known as Mao Mao’s twin.” The two of us
laugh. We really do look like twins. “Now for the second thing… The mirror is a one way door.”
“WHAT?! WHY WASN’T THAT THE FIRST THING?!” I shot up from the couch. “Oam
this is important!”
“I know, I just thought I’d lighten the load with something nice.” ... Damn it, I can’t stay
mad at him. I sigh to myself.
“Okay. Well, winged me said there is a nearby temple just like the on in ours. This does
mean it’ll take a while before we get home.” I sit back down on the couch, thinking of a system
to find home.
“Well, in case you end up here again, call me Wind. We don’t want anymore confusion.”
We all laughed. Even the darkest moments have a silver lining.
“Well, we should probably leave soon. I think the best plan is to keep a map and mark
the mirrors we’ve already been through.” I smile at Oam.
“Well, we better get going.” Oam quickly grabbed my hand, running to the temple.
“Bye! Be careful.”
“Okay Wind!”(275 words)
