Chapter 13 - a slight change

The injured girl smirked and pulled a kunai out of her pouch.

"You talk like you weren't a shinobi from the beginning... Unfortunately for you... I will not let you harm my friends any more than that!" Tsuki tightened her headband, looking at her two comrades. "Sasuke, Naruto... let's go wild!"

Sakura yelled to her team from outside. "Tsuki-chan! Naruto! Sasuke! Don't lose to a guy like that!"

Naruto and Tsuki did their Clone Jutsu again, only to get them destroyed again.

A loud splash made everyone perk up.

'Wait, what was that?' Tsuki looked around.

"Sasuke!" she shouted making the boy nod, indicating that he knew what she meant.

'Okay, I'm not the only one who noticed.' Tsuki stared at the boy.

"One more try!" Naruto shouted determined. So they summoned the clones again and Sasuke splashed water up in the air.

"Don't you understand that it's useless?" Haku asked and then attacked them again.

After another try, Tsuki slumped on her knees, trying to catch her breath as the chakra loss took a turn on the girl.

'Damn it, am I really this weak? Forget it, I won't back down! If it means that I am too slow to keep up with his speed, then I have to become faster!'

The girl growled, but even so, Naruto and Tsuki made the clones again, wielding the hand signs in a blink of an eye.

This time, when Haku attacked the clones, Sasuke released his Fire Style Jutsu.

Haku was now slower than before, making it possible for Sasuke to release another Fire Style Jutsu. He successfully burned Haku, only his pants, but it was a start.

"Darn! We were so close!" Naruto grunted.

"Guys, can you still move?" Sasuke asked in a serious tone.

"Of course! I'm totally fine!" Naruto said and nodded furiously.

"Tsuki, you?" Sasuke turned his eyes to her.

She only huffed and stood up again. "I'm tired of this. Let's make it windy! Wind Style: Vacuum Wave!" with that, many sharp blades of wind flew towards the mirrors, making her smirk, knowing that Haku wouldn't be able to deflect the jutsu with only his senbon needles, so she watched every mirror and saw a figure running around.

"Naruto, run! Run out of here and attack from the outside!" Sasuke yelled and Naruto started running.

Haku shouted angrily. "You won't be able to!"

The mirrors glowed again and Naruto was pushed back, he didn't complain and started running again. "I'm not going to lose!"

Sasuke noticed Haku and released another Fireball Jutsu towards him.

Strangely, the Takeshi saw everything in slow-motion, when Sasuke was pierced with a needle and Naruto was pushed roughly back from Haku.

'Huh? Why were they so slow?' The confused female rubbed her eyes and was met with a blurry vision.

'Ugh, I can't let this distract me!' she told herself over and over but couldn't get her normal vision back.

Her blindness made her stumble backward, falling on her bottom. She tried to rub her eyes but once she did, they started to sting.

"Tsuki!" Sasuke called out to her, but the one thing she could see was a blurry blue dot.

Then her vision started to get more and more black dots.
