He'd glanced back and seen her pass by,
His eyes searched her face;
He runs invisibly towards her,
Finally, he felt the touch almost acutely

He reached for her as he pressed closer,
She held his gaze steadily, "Yes?"
She lifts her chin, eyes locking on his;
His heart leap swelled

''Can I hug you baby?",
In the instant before she did;
She brought him back to earth,
"of course." she murmured

Before he could react,
She closed the distance, pressed her soft lips;
The pressure and light called him,
He kissed her back

The kiss deepened but gently,
He slid his arms around her;
His hands filling both hands with lush promise,
They stopped, he stepped back

She smiled. As if she understood,
This time she stepped close;
Close enough that he could feel her warmth,
Close enough that he could not leave her.
