So, after 4 yrs since I wrote my last fanfic, somehow I've ended up here once again haha! However, this won't be like my previous fics, for one, hopefully, better written lol!
It also won't be a bandship, this is just my crazy wild imagination going into overdrive over Coldrain's lead singer =P If you're a fan of OM&M, Pierce the Veil, etc, then I highly suggest you check them out.
Of course, this is all fictional blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda lol You know the drill. As always, there is smut in this book too, so heads up on that.
Also, if you're interested, I have a new account where I've written some more serious, non-fanfic related novels if you want to go check them out. User: FaithColeAuthor =)
Enjoy and much love. Faith aka as you once knew me, Princess Faithpunzel!Katsuko's POV
"Ryo!" I beamed, filling with joy as he came sauntering down the path of the small home I had in Nagoya, Japan.
"Katsuko!" The smile spread broadly over his lips as he held out his arms for me to run into.
I gladly accepted his open eyes as I wrapped mine around him tightly, "I missed you."
"I missed you, too, Katsuko. How have you been?" He spoke as he pulled away.
"Good, working mostly." I chuckled, "How about you? How was the tour?"
"Oh, Kat, it was amazing. I'll tell you all about it. But first, I hope you don't mind; I brought a friend with me."
"Oh?" I looked at him curiously. As I looked past his shoulder, my eyes caught sight of the friend.
A five foot seven man, with dyed blonde ruffled hair, olive, flawless skin, and dark chocolate eyes stood there with a small smile on his face. He dressed in black jeans with rips down the legs, a white t-shirt, and a black leather jacket. It was the man I recognized as Coldrain's lead singer, Masato, the band my cousin Ryo Shimizu played bass for.
I'd seen pictures of him, and video's and I'd always thought he was cute. However, now I saw him in person, I couldn't help but think he was so much more than cute. He was attractive, and when his small smile turned into a full beam, I felt my heart melt a little.
"Kat, this is Masato, our singer. Masato, this is Katsuko, the cousin I told you about." Ryo smiled as he introduced us.
"It's nice to meet you finally. Ryo's always going on about his favorite little cousin." Masato spoke politely in perfect English with only a slight accent, unlike Ryo's who's accent was strong when he spoke English.
"He's told me a lot about you, too. It's nice to meet you as well. Would you like to come in? I have tea ready."
"I'd be a fool to say no to tea." Masato chuckled.
"And she makes the best tea, too. Let's go, and I'll tell you about the tour."

"So Sugi decided it would be funny to hide all my bass picks. I was running around like a lunatic. We were due to go on stage in less than half an hour!"
"No way, where did he hide them?" I laughed as we sat around the small table in my living room.
"In my suitcase, between all my underwear," Masato replied between bursts of laughter.
"Oh no! I hope you got him back for that."
"He did, he put hot sauce in his coffee."
I couldn't help but roll my eyes, "That's such an old move of yours Ryo. I remember you did that to me once. You almost didn't have a bassist, Masato, I swear."
"Kat chased me all around her parent's house, screaming at me with a damn kunai in her hand! I thought she was going to stab me!"
"Spicy foods make me feel sick. I felt ill for a good couple of hours after, you asshole."
"Aw Ryo, that's mean! You can't do that to her; you are an asshole." Masato chuckled as he lightly slapped Ryo around the head.
"Woah, no need to hit me! She already damn well threw that kunai at me and nearly hit me! It was inches away!"
"I knew what I was doing; I knew I wasn't going to hit you." I defended, if nothing else, my aim and ability to throw things was uncanny.
"So not the point, Kat." Ryo looked at me with a raised brow and pursed lips.
"So, Kat, where are you from? You're not from Japan, right?" Masato asked after a moment of silence.
"No, I was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, but my dad's Japanese, mom's American. However, we came out here every summer, to see dad's family, and I decided to move here for good a few months ago. I got a job offer I couldn't refuse."
"Oh right, you're a computer whiz, I remember Ryo saying. You worked for Apple for a long time, didn't you?"
"Yeah, helped design some of the software, but I was barely involved much, I was only an assistant. However, now I work for Sony. They offered to pay for the house and help get me out here. Besides, I do love it here so well, here I am. Okay, I do have to travel an hour to work every day, but I wanted to be here in Nagoya, in the Atsuta ward. I love being by the Hori river; there's just something about water that soothes me."
Ever since I can remember, I'd loved the water. Some of my favorite childhood memories were of the time my father took me swimming. Or when we'd travel and visit the seas and lakes around America and Japan. I'd even been on my high school's swim team and held the top record in freestyle for a few years.
"You should see her swim; she's insane." Ryo nodded in agreement. "Born for the water."
"That's amazing; you'll have to show me your skills sometime. So, do you speak Japanese?"
"Mostly. I'm not fluent; I know enough, though. It's just more natural to me to speak English, given I spent twenty-six years in America." I shrugged before I finished off my cup of lemon green tea.
"Well that answers my next question, I was going to ask how old you were." Masato chuckled as he placed his cup down.
"Is it not rude to ask a lady her age, Mr. Hayawaka?" I looked at him with a raised brow and a smirk dancing on my lips.
"Lucky I didn't have to ask then, isn't it?" He looked at me with a smile and a playful twinkle in his eyes.
We'd barely been sat here talking for an hour, and I was taken with Masato. He was sweet, funny, witty, and his voice came through like a song. It was delicate with a musical tone to it; it was almost hard to believe he could scream the way he did in their songs.
He wasn't like the previous guy's I'd gone for or dated, but that was a good thing. My track record was horrendous. However, he was Masato from Coldrain. He had women flocking at his feet everywhere, and he could have his pick of women, and their band was still small in comparison.
"Lucky you didn't. So, Ryo, how long you around for?"
"Actually, we're home for the next six months. The label wants a full album and really wants to push the band's name out there. If this album does well, they're planning on doing another within a year and get us out in the UK and Europe."
My eyes went wide as I smiled in pride at my cousin, "That's amazing. I'm so proud of you!"
"We have a few shows here and there between studio time, but nothing much. Hey, now you're here you can actually come to a show, join us on the bus and everything."
"VIP treatment and all." Masato looked at me with a smile.
"Well, if I can get the time off, sign me up for that!" I chuckled.
"You're joining us, end of the story. Now let's go get food, I'm starving." Ryo grinned as Masato and I voiced our agreement and we headed out.
