Masato's POV

I held Katsuko close to me as our lips moved together in a slow, loving, sensual kiss. I knew I should have insisted that we didn't do this, not after what she'd told me. However, when I looked in her eyes, I knew she needed it. She needed me. She needed me to show her how much someone loved her in the way only I could. She required that level of intimacy; only this could bring her.

"Our tea is probably cold now." I chuckled as I reluctantly took my lips from hers.

"Probably. Sorry I kind of jumped you."

"Oh, trust me, I'm not complaining that you did. I just didn't want to take advantage of you when you were so vulnerable, that's all."

"You're really amazing; you know that?" She looked at me sweetly, with a small smile on her lips as her fingers ran through my hair.

"I'm amazing because you deserve someone who treats you right. Now, how about we take a shower and get dressed? I got something planned for us this afternoon."

It was a weekday, but I knew she'd taken the day off work to spend with me after I'd been away for the week. The guys were in the studio without me for the day, too, allowing us to spend the day together as we'd be over in Tokyo all weekend.

"Oh? What are we doing?" She looked at me, curiously.

"Not saying, but what I will ask is, do you have a bathing suit?"

She looked at me with a straight face and raised her thin brow, "You remember when we first met, Ryo calling me a water baby? Of course, I do. I go swimming every Thursday morning as I start work a little later than other days."

I couldn't help but chuckle, "Of course you do. Well, you're going to need it."

"Come shower with me?"

"Oh, I'd planned too." I grinned, pressing my lips to hers in a swift kiss before she climbed off me, and we headed to the shower.

------

"No way!" Kat grinned as I pulled up into the parking lot of Nagashima Resort. "Ryo and I used to come here all the time in the summer! Urgh, I've missed this place."

"He mentioned that, so I thought we'd come here for the day. I thought we could go on some of the rides then grab some lunch. Afterward, we could visit the little shopping outlet and take a walk in the flower garden. This time of year, the cherry blossoms should be beginning to bloom. After that, we'll go for a swim in the pool, relax in a jacuzzi, before you're taken off for full body massage."

"Aw, babe, I love you!" She grinned before she leaned over the middle console to press her lips to mine.

"And I love you, let's go then."

------

I couldn't help but laugh as Katsuko stared at the giant Ferris wheel with her eyes wide in fear. "Okay, so, you'll go on the rollercoasters a million times. However, you're scared of the Ferris wheel?"

"Hey! It's not funny!" She scowled, slapping my arm lightly. "You didn't get stuck on one that was three hundred feet tall for three hours because it damn well broke down while you were right at the top too! It was horrible! It was just my brother and me; we were cold and hungry. I thought we were never going to get down. I was only twelve."

"Oh come on, Kat, you're with me, you know you're safe. And, we can be one of those cheesy couples who kiss at the top of the Ferris wheel like they do in the movies." I smiled at her as I placed my hands on her hips.

She looked at me, unsure as she bit on the inside of her cheek, "All right, but if we get stuck, I will make you pay, Mr. Hayawaka."

"Oh my god, you're Masato from Coldrain." A girl's voice squeaked in Japanese from beside us. I had to suppress the inward groan that bubbled. I loved our fans more than most things, however, not when I was trying to have some quiet time with Kat.

I turned to face two girls who can't have been older than twenty looking at me with hopeful smiles.

"We're huge fans!" The smaller of the two, with dark brown hair, grinned.

"Thank you, that means a lot to me."

"Could we please get your autograph?" The taller one, with hair blacker than the night, asked hopefully.

"Sure." I nodded, and they hurriedly pushed out copies of our last EP, Through Clarity to me, sharpies included. I guessed they must've seen us before and gone to the shopping area to grab a copy. That or they just carried it around.

"Are you his girlfriend?" The smaller one asked, cocking her head to the side to look at Kat.

"I am." Kat beamed proudly, which made me smile. She was my girlfriend, and she was proud to be.

"You're so pretty!"

"Thank you."

"Here you go." I smiled at the pair, handing them back their CD's after I signed my name on them. "Oh, and I'd appreciate it if you didn't post anywhere about Kat, please. I want her privacy respected."

"Of course, we promise. Thank you so much." The taller nodded her head in thanks.

"You're welcome." I watched as the two girls scurried off, talking excitedly between themselves. I turned my eyes to Kat, who just looked amused.

"Guess I'm going to have to get used to that." She chuckled, "They seemed sweet."

"Yeah, the fans are generally pretty awesome." I sighed with a nod. "You got the odd crazy one but not often, thankfully. I hope they don't go plastering you over social media, though. Just because I opted to have my privacy ripped open, doesn't mean you should have too as well. Anything that's posted about you should be on our terms, not the media's."

"It's sweet you want to protect me like that, but I knew that was part of the deal when we started dating. However, I agree, I'd like to keep this between us, on our terms."

It wasn't just the idea of the world knowing about Kat, ripping open her life, and the rumors that would no doubt come with our relationship. After what she'd told me this morning, I needed to protect her. A part of me was concerned that her ex might catch wind and know she was here. Although she said he was locked up for the next ten years, it wasn't a risk I was willing to take.

"I'm glad you agree. Now, Ferris wheel?"

"Come on, before I change my mind." She rolled her eyes, taking my hand, and we headed to the wheel.
