CHAPTER 20: STARGAZER

(DAY 16, 1/3 days in NEW YORK CITY-MANHATTAN)

"I'm nervous." I said as I spoke into the microphone. I was sitting in the booth. There was a man name Savan there with Niall and the other boys. Niall reached over and clicked a button.

"It's alright" I heard him say. "You'll do perfectly. Do you want us to turn the lights off in there?" I liked the idea of that. 

The lights turned off in the booth and there was one single light hanging above me. I could see the boys and Savan still.

Savan spoke "Okay when you hear a beep in your ear phones it means to start singing. You can sing anything you'd like and make it good." I shook my head and waited. 

Beep.

I choose an Ed Sheeran song. He's all I've been listening to lately. I chose his song Give Me Love because I could relate to it. A lot. 

Give me love, like her. Cause lately I've been waking up alone. 

I was into the song. My voice had so much emotion into it. So much more then I've ever sang before. Maybe it was because the lights were off and I felt safe. Like nothing could touch me. Nothing.

I ended the last note and hit it spot on, and then I heard a beep in my ear phones. I opened my eyes, realizing I had them closed the entire time. The pair of eyes I saw were Niall's. He was smiling and clapping his hands. All the other boys were just looking at me and so was Savan.

I took off my earphones and entered behind the glass where they were. 

"So what'd you think?" I said nervously. Harry was the first on to get up.

"Oh my gosh I didn't know you were that good!" He hugged me and whispered "Really good."

Louis and Zayn were looking at each other and then they mouthed something I didn't quite catch. But then Louis turned to me. 

"You and Niall should do that in a duet. That song. It's perfect." 

"So you're saying I could be on the album?" I turned to Savan. He shook his head. 

"But I'm not the only one who chooses who sings the songs. There are more people who need to look it through." 

I was okay with that. Niall walked over to me and hugged me and kissed my hair softly. "You'll make the album. I know it." 

So I took his word on it.

We were on our way to the hotel with the boys to grab the bags me and Niall had to bring to my house. 

"So. You really wanna stay at your mothers house? You don't want to like.. stay at the hotel?" Niall said. I'm guessing he really wanted to stay at the hotel because he wants to sleep in the same bed.

"Yeah. I mean, we could stay here if you want.." I sounded happy not sad because I'll do anything he wants to do.

"I'm actually hoping we could have some fun tonight. With the boys. And you can invite some friends over to the hotel." Ha ha.. Friends. The only one I have is Beatrice. And she has been staying with Harry the whole time so I don't need to invite her. 

"Uh. Alright. The only friend I have is Beatrice though so.." He looked awkward at me like he felt bad.

"I'm sorry I ask-"

"No Niall it's fine. I get it." I really did get it though. He was just being nice.. he didn't know.

It was a few hours later and Harry went to the door. He came back in the spacious hotel room with a brown paper bag of wine and beer for Niall. I took 2 glasses throughout the night not getting drunk, but at least a little bit numb. 

"TRUTH OR DARE" Liam said. It was his first time getting drunk because he got the okay by his doctor.

We all sat around and Liam started. 

"Okay. Louis. Truth or Dare."

"Dare" 

"Okay I dare you to go downstairs to all of the fans outside the hotel and hug every single one without saying a word."

"What?! Are you crazy Liam that'll take me all night. I'll do one." 

We weren't that high up from the street so we watched from an open window. We saw Louis walk outside take on fan and hug her. Then he walked straight back into the hotel. It was quite funny because the girls sat there scratching their heads for a bit wondering why that happened but.. you had to be there to see how funny it was. 

Everyone was pretty wasted by then and was laughing at anything possible. 

"Okay." Harry said to me.

"Truth or Dare." 

I didn't want to pick any of them.

"Dare." 

He smiled. "Take your shirt off." 

"NO." Niall yelled at Harry and everyone started laughing.

"Alright a truth then." He said. "Have you and Niall had sex yet." 

My face got bright red. "Oh come on pall that's person-" Niall started to say but Harry cut it off.

"She has to answer! You wouldn't let her do the dare." 

"No. We haven't." I blurted out to shut him up. 

The all started laughing. You could they were all 3 sheets to the wind. 

I took Nialls arm and pulled him into the room not listening to the remarks of the others. I pushed him down on the huge white bed and started kissing him. I started at the hem of his shirt and pulled it up over his head not ending the kiss. 

I stopped and started unbuttoning my blouse when his hands stopped me.

"Stop, Sophia." He said. "You don't need to just because of them.." 

I started to feel embarrassed and felt the tears slip from my eyes.

"But don't I Niall? Isn't that what you want? Isn't that what every guy wants?" I started sobbing as I backed away from him and sat on the carpet floor. 

He pulled the shirt over his head again and got down on his knees in front of me. "I don't want that." He said. "I don't want you to do it for the sake of me. I mean yeah.. everyone wants that but I want it when you're ready. I want our first to be special. I don't want it to be forced. I want you.. to be real with me."

He put his hand under my chin and pulled my lips up for a kiss, then he wiped away my tears.

"I love you." I said. 

"I love you, my stargazer." He replied.

Sorry it took awhile! I've been really busy with school and keeping up with my blog. I really hope you like this one, I promise you the next few chapters will be longer because RIGHT NOW I NEED TO GO TO BED BECAUSE ITS 11:00 AND I HAVE SCHOOL TOMORROW. :)
